Lol have you seen the playoffs last year? Anderson was so bad MDA had Ariza trying to guard LMA.

We specifically got Tucker for these matchups. He can go against guys like LMA.

No doubt it would be an exciting move and I think it would make our roster even more interesting. I doubt the Kings do it, but they have a pretty bizarre front office, so who knows if they'll pull the trigger.

They do have somewhat of a back log at the guard position with:

    PG Fox (not going anywhere)
SG Buddy Hield (management supposedly likes him, good 3-pt shooter)
PG Frank Mason III (got significant minutes when healthy, 2nd round pick)
    PG Garrett Temple
    PG George Hill

Fox, Hill, and Temple get the majority of the minutes, but Mason and Hield still play around 20 minutes a piece.

Might not be the worst thing in the world for the Kings to do the deal. After this year Ryno will have 2 years left and after that he should be easy to unload as an expiring deal.

You can't have 5 superstar starters on your team, unless you are GSW. I dont mind backup PFs as long as they are solid on D.

Unless you think the number 16 = 13, then the contracts do not match. Sorry.

Eric and filler for AG, Simmons and Speights? If we toss in Bkack maybe also get Mack too.

It will still cost Rockets 1st rounder, or two.

I dunno about their contracts .

But I like ryno better than Hill for our squad.

Even if Ryan is a poor defnder .. The mere fact that he's 6'10" gives him more value .

Plus , in most ideal situations Ryan would at least play ~20 mins ( even if he's sucking ) . For hill to get more than 15 min a game means one of James , Eric , or Chris is hurt .

And don't even ****ing think about going 3 guard... That **** will wear us down quicker than I can jerk off .

I know this is traditional thought.

However, how is Aldridge going to defend Ariza or Moute? If he goes to the perimeter the middle is open. If he goes into the post the Rockets will always have a perimeter player open for a 3.

Ideally I would like a real 6’10” mobile PF who can shoot 3’s but we have been winning with 6’8” Anderson as our big 4.

Those 3 guys combined barely average AG's scoring average and AG is just as good if not better defender of bigs (C, PF).

Did I mention he's younger and still potential to be a superstar. Especially being fed by Beard and CP3.

You know what you're talking about I guess? Don't act like a child. State your case without the other dribble.

Rockets need a shooter at every position on the floor save for Clint/post position. Aaron Gordon does nothing to move the needle for the Rockets against GSW.

Why are you even bringing up Aaron Gordon in this thread? It has nothing to do with Ryan Anderson or a deal with the Kings.

Aaron Gordon will never be a Houston Rocket. Get over it, this isn't xbox.

A bigger body is wasted against GSW who run around with Iggy on PF and Green on C. The battle will be on the perimeter instead of the front line, losing Gordon just for a "big body" is just losing out on talent in the team.

I hear what you’re saying but it is easier for Aldridge to stand in the corner with either of them. He is a focal point of their offense and he has a history of killing us in the post/elbow. On the flip side Ariza and luc are catch and shoot guys he can cheat off of or stick to. Not focal points

How do you get the Gordon contract and Ryno contract to match? Figure that one out.

If he has potential to be a superstar why will his team give him up for Gordon?

We might not even like a potential superstar because his deal is expiring, what if some team pays him the max next year? We are already having a problem keeping all our guys on the team, only 18M in capspace but Cp3, Capela, Green and Luc all becoming FAs
