Hates on Lebron, calls Ryan Anderson the key to Harden’s success.

    Yeah...ok.

Key words: One on One. If MJ had a opportunity to win a finals game one on one with no double teams, Steve Kerr wouldn't exist

It's almost as if players have different skillsets, and choose to play up those skillsets in clutch situations. LeBron's one-on-one skills have never been that great. He's at his best when he's driving, dishing, or getting to the basket. He passes to Korver because it's the right play...... not because he's deferring. If you're implying that LeBron is some sort of beta because he passes in crunchtime, that's just the weakest argument in this thread.

If you're the so called best player in the world, Kyle Kover shouldn't be taking a shot YOU should be taking. If you're being doubled and forced to pass then that's understandable. But in a one on one situation, in a NBA FINALS, with the game on the line, your best player should take it upon himself to win the game, period. Magic was also a pass first player, but when the game was on the line he didn't defer to anybody. It's like boldly taking the position of President of the United States, commander & chief, but allowing others to make crucial decisions for you because your scared of the backlash if you're wrong lol. What kind of leader is this

So the Rockets should hang back from signing (or trading for) the best player in the league (debatable) so that they can turn the reigns over to guys like Zhou Qi and Isiah Hartenstein?

Dude, get outta here. And Clint Capela isn't going anywhere, at least not yet.

No. I'd much rather wait out for a PG, AD, Cousins or any other young superstar that could be available in the future. Houston is going to be the main attraction for superstars in the next few years. Would you rather have Lebron for a one year circus or possibly a player like AD for multiple years?

I wont bother reading this trainwreck.

Will Utah still go on with the Johnson buyout?
They are now all of a sudden on a 5 win streak and can make the playoffs.

The Clippers have given up and the Pelicans without Cousins will be in trouble.
What they have to gain by buying him out?

PG is just not that big a deal to me .. . he is a better more offensively consistent version of Ariza
AD is probably the only player I would THINK ABOUT taking over LeBron

LeBron for at least 2 years. Why would he come to play here with his best friend and jump ship after just one year? Especially if we'd win a championship with CP and LeBron.

If we're putting a time table on old stars, CP3's clock is ticking as well. We can't wait for AD to get over one of his many injuries per season that the Pelicans are accustomed to. Cousins may come here, doubtful, but his play style really doesn't mesh with what we're doing here plus he's a gd headcase (leads the league in techs year after year). Paul George is NOT coming to the Rockets, it's clear that after the Thunder crash and burn in the playoffs he will head to LA. He has made it clear that his plan is to either sign with LA or stay with the Thunder (if they win a ring, which they won't).

All signs point to our most likely chance a t a superstar player, is LeBron. I'll take that any day over the aforementioned 3. Since he won't be a one year rental as you assume.

He is light years ahead of Arizas offense and much better defender. Paul George makes a lot more sense in Houston than Lebron. I really hope Lebron doesn't come here.

This team has no need or Joe Johnson , they don't have enough minutes at SG/SF as it is with Harden , Green , Ariza , Luc and Tucker.

Give me a 3rd point guard or another 4/5 comb guy instead.

Johnson was a great player for a lotta years , just don't see the fascination with him here- other than the name.

This. PG is my preferred player but very seldom do great players like Lebron come along. I mean CP3 did so but Lebron too?

Had a nice series last year Utah v. Clips... maybe that has excited peoples interest? I don't see the need for him.

    If not traded,

Joe Johnson has agreed to join Thunder after buyout.
