Games like this are why the Rockets are contenders. Tired, back to back against a good defensive team shooting well, but didn’t matter. Contenders grind out wins like this. Ready for the playoffs already.
I must admit seeing Harden hit so many late game iso 3s this season to ice the game has spoiled me to the point where I actually expect him to make an iso 3 to put the game out of reach. He does this seemingly every game. Unreal.
Those two threes. His eyes were half closed, reminded me of TMac lol. How does he make it look so easy, his demeanor is almost lackadaisical...
Look at CP3 on the final dagger by Harden. He knew it was going in before James even released the ball and was already walking back on D. The confidence the team has in him is unreal right now.
HarGod.... So worried with all these minutes and injuries to the supporting cast requiring him to play heavy time. But with Paul to share the load it will make a world of difference.
I think Luc might be my favorite player. The way he was guarding James Johnson in the post and Dragic on the perimeter was kind of spectacular. The small things he does to impact the game from running hard down the sideline after a make, to cutting into the lane, to taking his defender off the dribble on the baseline, are invaluable I thought Rockets were going to be in a bit of trouble with Ariza out because Ariza is the better shooter, but with Luc in the starting line up, Rockets haven't missed a beat. Ariza doesn't need to play 35+ minutes when you have a guy like Luc on the bench.
