LMAO at the comments questioning LeBron's heart/leadership, etc... those are concerns u have about somebody that hasn't won multiple championships and MVPs...
Im no Lebron nuthugger... but the dude has been delivering for over a decade now... what hes bringing this season is obviously less than expected but there's obviously issues with the organization leading to this downturn....
I mean Harden is having another great regular season (prob MVP caliber) but we still havent seen the 'playoff version' yet... but folks wanna rag on LeBron for heart and leadership?
    ... ok....lol!

I've been wavering over the LeBron situation for awhile, thinking Paul George would be a better fit. He might be. Concerning LeBron though, this dude is the only good player on that Cavaliers team. Crowder and IT are underperforming. Smith and Shump are garbage. Wade, Frye, Rose, Green and Korver are washed up. Tristan is straight garbage. Love is injured.

So it's really LeBron and a pile of trash yet they are still a playoff team. 3rd in the east. And this is despite the Cavs punting and trading kyrie mostly for the picks just to save their own tail soncs LBJ didn't sign an extension.

LeBron is good. I don't know that Paul George could do the same. Today I joined team LeBron.

    Pretty much nailed it.

This is public posturing by Lebron to keep his fan base and the media on his side. He doesn't want then turning on him when he leaves for another super team. Went through that when he went to Miami and when he left. And he watched Durant get castigated fit going to the Warriors.

Lebron also knows we have a legit shot at beating the Warriors WITHOUT HIM right now! And if we win a championship without him then he'll look even worse joining a team that just WON a championship instead of a team that just LOST a championship.

But if he is traded now.....after management comes to him with a trade because they have decided to rebuild......then he can accept the trade and walk away from the whole mess while telling the media and fans that it was the Cavs decision to go to the lottery and they wanted to trade him for rebuilding purposes and they gave up on the season.

It's all posturing from Lebron. The Cavs are 4-6 in their last ten games and they're 3 games from the lottery. And they're broke and dysfunctional.

If they could figure out a way to dump contracts and get out of the tax while picking up some young talent and picks.....they should probably go ahead and do it. Gilbert allegedly wants to sell. That's another motivator. Why pay all that tax when he's getting out? They need to shed around 15 million in salary. Trade Love to the Jazz for Joe Johnson, Thabo, Bradley and a first. Trade lebron for another first and 5 million or so in cap savings. Then send crowder to the pacers for a couple seconds or possibly (not likely) move TT for a longer contract, smaller deal. Done. Out of the tax. Lottery bound. Picks galore. Cap space coming up.

Nick Wright on FS1 said he knows for a fact that a title contender tried to trade for Lebron this week.
But Lebron wouldn't waive his no trade clause.
Why? Something about Lebron thinks his image will be tainted from abandoning Cleveland mid-season

If he did that, he'd never be able to say anything at all.

If LeBron was a better leader 1) Kyrie wouldn't have left and 2) Cavs' drama would be less publicized.

If he had more heart/t.fortitude 1) he'd be less diva-ish and 2) more clutch.

He's still a great player, though.

I definitely feel Lebron is getting a pass with all this drama. Earlier in the year when they won 12 straight or whatever; everyone was praising him and put him number 1 for that MVP; and he was gladly taking all the credit. Now the team sucks and it’s all the owners fault?
The man has to own up and take a lot of the responsibility. I’m shocked how nobody has called him out in the media just a tad bit.

Maverick Carter probably has already called up Lee Jenkins to begin the new Lebron narrative story for after the season.

The writing is on the wall. All that is left now is controlling the narrative.

Reputation, Dan Gilbert drafted one good player when he was gifted:

2011 #1 overall pick- Kyrie Irving
2011 #4 overall pick- Tristian Thompson (how did he go #4 again?)
2012 #4 overall pick- Dion Waiters (lol)
2013 #1 overall pick- Anthony Bennett (LOL)
2014 #1 overall pick- Andrew Wiggins (Love has contributed more in cleveland than Wiggins ever has and will in Minny)

While LeBron won two championships, Gilbert proved incapable of building a team.

My take is that LeBron has made his statements so that when he leaves, he can say, “Well, they gave up. Not me. I played it out." Their locker room is bordering on that mess that we had here between Dwight, McHale, and Harden a few years ago. . . Low effort, people playing for themselves, unwilling to go the extra mile, no help defense, finger pointing. . . but it might be worse.

There's a possibility, however slight, that Cleveland might just begin their rebuild at the trade deadline. That would mean moving LeBron to us (since he won't waive his no-trade), and us moving more than one salary (but the big one would be Anderson's). That way, Cleveland gets something rather than nothing. Their talking point would be, "He was going to Houston anyway. Look at how we salvaged that."

With that in mind, I wonder if Sacramento, Cleveland’s long rumored trade partner, might be our facilitator. This would allow George Hill and some combination of Rockets to end up in Cleveland, and Anderson on to the West Coast with a team crying out for perimeter shooting.

The cost is likely Gordon. He would have to be included to make this work. But if I could add LeBron and had to give up 1) Anderson, 2) Gordon, 3) non-rotation players, and 4) picks, I would put my chips in the middle of the table.

Waiting till next summer for a LeBron move smells like "Carmelo-Anthony-it's-happening" all over again. We shouldn't let trading a coveted rotation player keep us from adding one of the best talents in the world.

They totally blew Anthony Bennett. No one can argue that. But he did pick Kyrie. Most GMs would have also picked Wiggins. Again, you criticize the front office for picking Tristan but you don’t criticize Lebron for calling them out for holding out on paying Tristan???? Not saying the front office is without fault. It’s just astonishing how some (including you apparently) see Lebron without sin.
