All about preference. I've always been on the side that rewards winning. I don't believe there's all stars on losing teams. Show me you're good enough that you're leading your team to wins consistently. Otherwise I'm not really impressed with empty numbers
Curious how many games you've watched of both MIA and CHA. There's a difference here, one guy is the singular go to in the crunch, the other doesn't see the court in the fourth when they need wins lately. As for rewarding only winning, it's clearly not the best indicator of individual contributions. Otherwise you are going to need to fit it into your explanation of how CHA is the only franchise in the NBA without representation at All-Star weekend.
Should have been Kemba, hands down. The worst All-Stars I can recall - Magloire (someone said it above), and (blasphemy) Yao as a rookie.
This doesn't say anything that says kemba is deserving of being an all star. And winning is a huge indicator of how good a player really is absolutely. The cha franchise without rep post doesn't make sense. What are you trying to say there. Why would a team winning 40% of their games be rewarded with an all star
I don’t think Dragic gets enough respect. He deserves it imo. The #s aren’t the greatest but they don’t show how good he has been this year. Really underrated.
As one of the biggest Goran's fans, I agree he doesn't deserve All-Star this year. I watched yesterday's game against Orlando and it was cringe-worthy. He deserved it when he had his best season with Phoenix Suns. It seems like NBA chose him because of that AS snub. But I'm not surprised. In NBA, there are a lot of "make-up" awards or prizes, awarded because someone deserved it last time. So let's say Goran got it because of that All-NBA season with Suns...
Dragon at his best with Phoenix and in some games as a Rocket was a borderline Allstar who deserved a look but could not get in. Now he gets to join the creme of the crop.
