melo will opt in this summer only because nobody else on the planet is going to pay him $27M to play basketball. lebron meanwhile, will have 29 teams chasing him to sign a MAX contract

Melo still has his NTC...good luck to OKC if they’re trying to trade him

Lou Williams plays well on teams that lack offensive options and require him to have the ball in his hands all the time...we’ll see how much he’d get to dominate the rock in OKC

a lot of people on here act like Lou Will actually wasn’t garbage for us...he had some good scoring games here and there, but overall, his game fell off immensely after leaving the Lakers and coming to Houston

Adams is better than DJ to me

Dont really understand this one. At least not the Lou Williams portion of the trade. I think Jordan would be a good addition even at the expense of steven adams(who I like a lot). However, Lou Williams needs the ball in his hands to be effective. The Thunder already have 3 guys on their team that get significant minutes and also need the ball. Lou will would end up pissed on the thunder. I can already see his tweet at the end of the season... “Thanx okc for the love. But let's pretend like those 3 months didn't happen. No harm No foul lol.”

He would have a Rockets-type impact, he would win them a game or 2, but not worth it in the end. I think this trade is a mistake until you're sure what George and Melo are doing. But, this trio hasn't really panned out to say the least anyways...

How does this make any sense for the clippers. There is no one other than Westbrook George and Adams at. A much lower degree that i would want on my team

Clips want to go young and Adams is younger than Jordan and is not an expiring who will leave them at the end of the season. There is very little to zero chance Jordan will resign with the Clippers he wants to be on a contending team Clips want to rebuild.

He can run the 2nd unit. I guess it didnt work in houston because we already had Gordon and Lou Will was reduced to an off the ball spot up shooter.

Would be hilarious to see DeAndre average 8/9 rebounds per game if he goes there

He will be there with either Melo, George or Westbrook. I doubt he will be running any unit. He just wouldn't be as good in OKC.

Just doesn't move the needle that much imo.

Is it a "splash?" Sure...but in name only. Jordan is better defensively and more athletic, but Adams is way more versatile. And there still wouldn't be an elite passer on that team to set DJ up. Adams gets the ball in awkward positions a lot but he is very nifty. Not really Jordan's game. Plus the whole hack a Jordan would be a nice way of not letting ANY of the stars touch the ball.

Lou...much more of a threat having him lead second unit instead of Felton...but Eric Gordon is still way better in that role. I would still like our chances.

Melo George and Westbrick all start, when Westbrick sits LouWill can run the point and take Westbrick's shots.

The only reason Melo George and Westbrick suck is because none of them are prolific 3 pters, instead all of them are at their best in the midrange to paint area. Lou Will can complement them because he just scores either in the 3 pt area or in the paint, leaving mid range for George and Melo to do their thing.
