no. If going full rebuild, you keep the pick. unless you get an all-star to build around.

are cavs and lebron the fools if they dont trade lebron before deadline?...they aint winnning ship this year and lebron is not staying

why not get as much as you can

    1 rockets get lebron
    2 cavs get the assets
3 lebron get a chance to another ring this year and a fun team to play with

lol why would they want an athletic center who's about to be 30 in their rebuild which will take years to come back unless they hit it big with their nets pick. They also have Love who they can trade for picks and young assets. TT and their other contracts are terrible though.

So would it be more prefarable to trade RYNO for expirings, for 1 or 2 more tradable contracts, or simply just hold onto him till the off-season?

sounds like it would be preferable for us to get someone with 2 years left which means during the offseason it's an expiring contract that has 1 year left which we can trade for positive equity towards a Lebron trade.

So why would another team send us shorter contracts without picks attached?

i don't know, he asked what's preferable, and that's what's preferable. what's preferable is why morey can't get a deal done yet

I believe opposite is the strategy, Morey is going after longer term contracts instead. Breaking Ryno's salary into smaller but longer term.

That way no picks attached. Heck Morey may even get picks or player rights back.

it just seems hard to get rid of 3 contracts on longer terms to me, but I guess we'll see what Morey does. If lebron says he wants to come, he's coming though and morey will make it happen

you send them picks or something, include 3 rd team i leave all the details to morey
    otherwise
1 they lose lebron for nothing
2 lebron loses this season for nothing, no rings
    3 why?

Agreed but multiple contracts also affords more flexibility. Multiple teams can be involved more easily.

You have to stress the first syllable, 2nd syllable is silent. :D

I think the Cavs are going to end up drafting that pick out.
They essentially sent everyone in the building with a Polo shirt on to the Oklahoma vs. Alabama game 2 weekends ago. Trae Young and Colin Sexton would both be right in the area that pick will be in.

Piecing together some of the reports that have come out in the past year:

    Bucks were interested in Anderson

Bucks are looking to trade Parker

Parker to Cavs, Ryno to Bucks LeBron to Rockets.

    Add in filler and picks

Cavs will then go Kim Jong on the rest of their roster
