No it wouldn't because the Rockets players wouldn't get out of the way to let Westbrook get his uncontested rebounds
Westbrook is arguably the most detrimental player in the NBA. He could take damn near any team and make them worse.
OKC is the most mercurial team in the NBA. If they go up against a team that beefs with Westbrook or if he has something to prove, OKC plays a lot better. If it's anyone else, they lose.
On top of that, they are only 2.5 games up on the Clippers who have the 9 seed and only 5 games up on the Jazz who have won 7 of their last 10 games.
You gotta root for OKC. At this point, it seems clear the Rockets have a legit chance at the #1 seed. If the Rockets are legit, Warriors are the only team in the NBA that matters to them.
Easy. You root for OKC we want number 1 overall. If all these injuries didn’t happen imagine where we would be. I at least want those Memphis loses back..
I wonder if it's better for us to play 4 games at home though, assuming we'll still have Ryan might be better to play more road games, and i'm not joking.
lol I’m cool with whatever happens if GS loses we’ll be tied with them in the loss column, if OKC loses then that’s 5 L’s in a row and I hope frustration starts to set in I’d prefer if OKC won tho
I'm in the minority that believes home-court advantage in a 7-game series is waaaaaay overrated, especially when seasoned, veteran teams play each other. However, this season, I have a hunch Rockets/Warriors would actually go 7 games.
I can’t see either of those 2 teams catching OKC...I think Presti will do something by the deadline to help their defense, and neither LAC or Utah are good
I think Presti will pull something out of his ass to help them by the deadline and they’ll end up being some 45 or 46 win team when it’s all said and done if they’re rolling with this same squad after the deadline then they could be in trouble I read somewhere that they were in talks for Avery Bradley...not sure what they’d be giving up, but Presti knows he has to do something
