Look, at the end of the day this is all about trust. I don't trust Anderson to play well in the playoffs.

This is his track record, just check out his career majority of the time his shooting % will plummet from the 30-40s to the 20s and his defense become really bad in the playoffs. All these people pumping up Anderson like he is Horry 2.0 will be quiet as mice when the playoffs roll around and Anderson disappoints AGAIN.

Nobody would love it more than me if Anderson channels his inner Dirk and leads the rockets to a title but we all know this isn't gonna happen.

The concerns are genuine, no doubt.
No one will give us anything better in return. Adding a buyout 4, or JJ Hickson after the Chinese season ends, is the best we can expect. Even that will be hard to pull off.

This is why you watch the GAMES. That's plural my man. Not just one.

Look who we were playing. Understand what's going on with them. Look how we're playing and what's going on with us. Look at how Anderson has performed for the season and how he performed last season and in the playoffs. Then calm down and rationally process all that info instead of isolating one game.

Nothing has changed @Batman Jones, nothing. Anderson will not help us beat the Warriors.....period.

He is seriously a Ryan only Fan. To him, Anderson is the only reason the Rox are winning games

Leave RYNO alone. We'll be fine. Just look a buyout for support like Brook Lopez, JJ and another point.

If the goal is to win this year trading Ryno for expirings doesn’t fit the narrative.

What’s the difference in trading him now or this summer? I don’t see why it would be easier now than then.

Point is it’s going to be hard and we will have to attach draft picks prob multiple tbh.

Nothing is guaranteed but if we our to beat the warriors we need Ryno playing at his best and just trading him for guys that are here to expire after the season doesn’t help us. Sure it helps us this summer but I don’t think anyone in that locker room is sitting there thinking let’s just scrap this season so we can prob sign Lebron this summer.

This team is 1 loss behind GS. Their 23-3 with harden and Paul playing together, their 21-1 with harden paul and Clint in the lineup.

When they have been completely healthy they have been number 1 on offense and 5 on defense.

Imo we need Ryno bombing threes for us to win 4/7 against that juggernaut in the bay.

Only thing I can guarantee is that if he’s traded for expirings that won’t even be an option.

I’m all for dumping him this offseason because it’s the last chance we have before Clint gets a raise.

Remember the days when D12 gave us a 31% frequency in post ups and 0.85 ppp?
    Man those were the days!!

Rockets could build up Ryan’s trade value if they chose. Hard when he is a 5th option though.

He could give you 14-15 points with more free throws and about 7 rebs. His 3-Point shot might improve
as he feels more involved.....but what do I know. It was just a 30 point win last night. Too close to experiment.

    Cont’d from Post #1296

Now D12 is 38.6% freq, 0.78 ppp, 28.1 (NBA) percentile. Weee!!

But then again we don’t want Ryan to get hurt before the trade deadline. Stop dunking Flyin Ryan.....please.

Anderson has been a p***y in most of these last games, but we need him if we’re going to go far. He’s a stretch 4 and when he’s on we’re unstoppable. Playing the most stacked team of all time you need wildcards like these
