With 2/3 of the season gone and cap already paid for I don't think number of years are any different now than in the offseason. I was all for trading him in the offseason but take this from Morey's perspective. He knows everything we don't know after shopping him for so long. If it was easy and inexpensive, it would have been done by now. The Knicks GM really screwed him because that deal was done. At this point the target is clear and you cannot afford to fail this time trying to get lucky. You make every attempt. I am not saying Ryno goes in the next few days because of how difficult it is but it seems a lot harder to me to trade him to acquire LBJ when everyone on the planet knows what you are doing. We can be held hostage then. Never been Morey's style. As I said, 3rd team trade now that won't prevent main trade later.

I still think there is no chance LBJ comes until the summer but after that game and the way he looked my 0.5% chance of getting him now is looking a little low at the moment. LBJ may have the balls to leave right now before more damage is done to his rep but the team doesn't. I guarantee you his rep is the only reason he is staying with the Cavs. That was the point of his Griffin trade comments the other day. If the Cavs were smart they would cut the cord now to remove pressure and improve morale. They need some time to see what they have and why drag the team's rep down further for the sale. Everyone knows he is leaving and you just build more bad blood and drama for the offseason when the media has nothing else to focus on. This season is lost. Get some optimism for the future and be free this offseason. I said previously they may end up a 50 win team but they are broken. That team's not winning 50 games and they are not getting to the Finals.

Ryno does not suck. He just needs to stay aggressive. I don't mind misses. I DO mind passing on open shots when your role is to shoot from deep, especially when guards close on you. If you get blocked, you get blocked, still take the next open shot.

Very well said. A ton of stuff up in the air.

I don't even know for a fact that the best thing for the Rockets is Lebron coming here. Perhaps it would be better if it were Paul George or DeMarcus Cousins. Even though he got hurt, can you imagine a Paul/Harden/Cousins/Capela lineup. sheeesh

If no Lebron then PG should be priority #2.

Very hesitant to throw money at boogie. Just me tho.

I would also. But if you could stagger the minutes the same way now. But perhaps make sure that Cousins would be on the court with Paul at all times. And Capela/Cousins on the court at all times with Harden. This team could be very impossible to beat. Along with more blowouts so you would be able sit for example Harden more often once he finally gets his MVP award this year, and stop needlessly playing in the 4th quarter when up 35 points like tonight.

He finally had a good game. God, I wish he could do this consistently. I'd actually consider us to have a shot against the Warriors if he could.

He just needs to be aggressive. It's all mental. I actually think he can end up being super important in our title run.

You have no guarantee he will play like this against GSW. Just the last game against them he scored just 5 pts and was -5. Thats why if you can trade him for expirings you do it now because you might not be able to get rid of him in the summer and then you miss out on Lebron.

Remember we almost traded Horry, and he became instrumental in our title run. However, Horry always had confidence. Ryan needs confidence more than anything. Skills-wise, he reminds me of Horry.

Looking at Lebron, missing out on him
Might not be the worst thing imaginable. We might be better off goin after Paul George or Cousins

Horry had much more than shooting skills his younger years in the league.

Anderson is a decent rebounder, can dunk, has a good midrange shot and has range which helps our spacing. And he understands the game and his role. From what I can see, he is not a terrible defender either, and he puts in the effort.

"Only" (big) issues are confidence and (probably related) perhaps chemistry with James.

TAKE THOSE OPEN SHOTS DAMMNIT. It doesn't matter if you miss badly or get blocked. Just keep going.

Lebron is still the best or top 3 player in the world at worst.

Regardless, it doesn't matter who that 3rd star is as long as we get one.

It’s not that. Boogie can helps us. Just don’t know if the Rockets would throw max money at a person who has suffered the worst injury in sports.

Anyways non discussion. Lebron is coming. Sooo yea.

Just check out Draymond Green's stats whenever he plays against Houston and then tell me how Anderson is a decent defender.
