Win this year and pick up Paul George next year. 5 years younger, less drama and pressure on the team, would seem like a pretty chill group like wha the Warriors have. No one too intense and a group that will have fun together.

When it comes to winning championships there is no next year.

Assuming if you asking if we have to pick one....I would rather win it this year.

If we win title this year, that's great. Thats all I been wanting.

As far as Lebron goes, if we win title this year, we still go after Lebron.

Or pick up Aaron Gordon by trade deadline to charge into postseason like demons possessed.

Plz lose that narrative. It’s not happening. Not even a small chance

It’s not a narrative, I’m no insider. AG just makes too much sense to upgrade 4 spot as well as overall offensive and defensive production, and if Rockets are willing to take on one of Magic’s plethora of bad contracts (Fournier, Vuc, Biyombo) for Ryno then the possibility exists. Or if Morey is willing to give up two 1st round picks (highly likely very late firsts), no Ryno.

AG is actually on table and PG is certainly not, yet everyone loves to bring him up ad nauseum. I don’t see you taking offense with that stance. Your “no chance” is subjective and a personal take. I completely understand that this trade is unlikely because it may take adding a player that Rockets are just not prepared to give up at this time (EGo, Capela, etc.) but unlikely does not equal no chance.

Ag restricted next year and takes us out the Lebron race. So no way they do it.

Everyone's ******** on this thread and deservedly so, but it brings up an interesting point I hadn't thought of - if we did somehow win it all this year, it would probably actually mean Lebron doesn't come here because it would hurt his image too much. Gotta love little factors like these, only in the NBA

Per ch44, moves are being made that are not factoring in acquisition of Lebron next season. And if Morey decides to go all in THIS season instead of waiting and putting all eggs into next season, nothing is off the table. Rockets are primed to challenge GSW right NOW.

The answer to this question lies in the question:

What is the purpose of getting LeBron?
