Love probably not coming here but he's one of the biggest stars/superstars most likely to be moved before the deadline........unless Cavs actually trade lebron.

With the way Ryan is playing tonight, he clearly does NOT want to be traded!!

Anderson's value can't be denied, but sucks that he was put in that position during the offseason.

Theory why Ryan is down this year.
    • We know that tired legs cause shooters to be less accurate
    • We know that Ryan got married in the off-season
    • We know newly weds are more “active” than most married people
Maybe Ryan getting married has helped lower his shooting percentage because he is getting extra “workouts” in between games?

less shot attempts as well because Paul has joined the team and he has to get his. Interestingly Anderson is shooting a better field goal percentage than last season

At a time where people are shooting 10 threes shooting 6 threes doesn't count as a volume shooter. Maybe he was in the past when offenses were slower but that was all in the past. Like I said a volume shooter wont score 10 pts a game wtf. If a 10 pt scorer is a volume shooter than majority of the NBA players are volume shooter. Ariza scores more pts than Anderson is he a volume shooter? What about Beverly? Tucker? Luc? All these guys would break 10 pts if given the same pt as Anderson so no, he is not a volume shooter.

+/- is just an indicator just like everything else. You have no evidence to prove Anderson is decent defensively and we have a stat that is saying he sucks. If Anderson was as good as you say Morey wouldn't be looking to trade him, its really that simple.

Do you have any stats that show Anderson garners more respect that Luc, Ariza and Trevor? This is the no 1 claim people make to excuse Anderson's deficiencies but there is no evidence for it.

Opposing teams pay attention to PPG and a 10 pt scorer is not considered a threat. In fact a common tactic would be to focus on Harden and Paul and let roleplayers like Anderson beat them.

He said he had lost weight coming in to this season, so it seems as though he stuck to his workouts pretty well. He may be more active overall, but that doesn't make it okay for him to regress in his #1 role as a 3-pt shooter and floor spacer. 95% of why he's paid $20 million is to shoot 3s and space the floor, if we wanted a physical rebounder then we would have certainly signed someone else.

he was actually solid this game 13 pts 3 3's +17

but why only 29 minutes? did MDA want more rebounding and hustle?

or taking precaution for a trade?

I think it had something to do with PJ. He was really good tonight. but if thats the ryno we get we can win a championship.

Spurs started playing hardcore defense. Ryno can't get his shot off if there's a defender within 2-3 ft.

Also PJ went off because his defenders lost him going to the corner immediately after a defensive rebound. Ryno doesn't do that, he typically stands within 5 ft of the top of the key, it makes it easier for defenders to lock him out of his shot in transition.

All playoff games matter. Consistency matters. Crappy players flash with a few good games, good players are consistent. Harden scored 60 because he is next level - not because of Ryan Anderson. He had to score 60 because Ryan Anderson sucks too much to step up and pick up the scoring when we had so many injuries. Harden is a one man wrecking crew. Part of why he had to go God mode to beat Orlando was because of Ryan not stepping up. These numbers are facts, not your weird Ryan love fest and attacks on people’s listing of facts for a weak minded, timid and inconsistent role player making $20 million a year.

I mean I can show you a chart of how many “further from 3, 3pa” he takes per game which is only behind curry.

Otherwise, there is no feasible stats that dictates where defenses lineup per possession, depending on lineups.
