A 12-year-old girl was taken into custody after two students were shot inside a classroom at a Los Angeles middle school on Thursday, authorities said.

The gunfire wounded a 15-year-old boy, who was shot in the head and was in serious condition, and a 15-year-old girl, who was struck in the wrist and was in fair condition, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center listed both as stable, saying they were expected to make full recoveries.

Another school shooting and no one seems to care. We spend 700 billion dollars on defense and we have school shooting all the time.

But MS-13! Protect us, please, from MS-13, and other dark foreigners with evil intent! TIA.

EDIT: Oh, and liberals. Protect us please from any idea that any democrat likes or has ever even considered. TIA.

We have already had 6 shootings this year alone. Should we make a thread every time?

Sad news. Not sure about the relevance of the MS-13 post. I would think they attempted just as many murders today.

I can't imagine getting that call from the school. Hopefully this trend goes away.

These days little girls know from a young age that they can be anything they want to be. Every day they are breaking through glass ceilings.

Well should we start a new thread?

We have dozens of gun control threads that are ignored.

Yeah.... I think starting a new thread every time children are killed in school by gun violence is “okay”.

Well someone was shot in the head and is only in "Serious condition" so I'd say it would have to be a small caliber handgun. Also, I'm hearing some suggest that it was an accident and not an intentional shooting. I suppose we'll see how it turns out.

Gimme a T-54 or a Tiger or give me nothing.

Second Amendment and the stupid Courts won't let me have an Abrams.

Meh, it's ok. Murder and violence have nothing compared to weird-ass concepts of rights that were never intended in a modern world.

There's plenty of places people can go if they hate the constitution of the US. I don't imagine anyone is forced to stay here.

More power to you, but I hear they have guns there, so you might want to pick a different country. North Korea is one of the most disarmed country in the world. El Salvador might be a good idea as well, they have about 95 fewer guns per 100 citizens when compared to the US. You could live at carefree in those countries due to how few guns they have.

The insane black-or-white false dichotomy of the gun-fetishist rears its head again.

Like I said earlier, it's cool. Handgun murder and violence is just a-ok here in the USA. Let's not try and do better, just sit back and enjoy it.

I was just trying to help you feel safe. Clearly you are uncomfortable with the US and their 101 guns for every 100 citizens so you'd likely feel safer in a country like El Salvador with only something like 5.8 guns per 100 citizens or North Korea with their 0.6 guns per 100 citizens.

I'm good with the US as is even if it's not perfect.
