How would you suggest they do that, considering that it is classified information and the Republicans voted against releasing the other memo?

In a lot of things involving politics, there is a gray area. Not in this case. It is pretty damn black and white.

Republicans have been calling for the FBI to release all information.

Except for the information and facts that they intentionally left out of the memo they are releasing and caused it to be inaccurate.

They obviously don't want that out in the open.

C'mon, you know better than that, the Democrats got Trump elected by nominating someone worse. The FBI did what they could to keep her a viable candidate by refusing to do their job and recommend indictment on the crimes they found evidence of her committing. Alas, even that wasn't enough for her to win.

Wray took one look at that memo and fired McCabe the next day

Dems and media are in full panic mode trying to stop its release

that its contents haven't been leaked, when any negative thing about Trump leaks out of the IC/Congress immediately, tells you it's bad

The same memo that Wray (a Republican appointed by Trump) said shouldn’t be released because it is full of inaccuracies?

You can’t have it both ways. Virtually all the supposedly compromised actors in this farce are Republicans and most were appointed by Trump himself.

I've looked at the FBI statement of 1/31/18. It is unsigned. Look for yourself.

    https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/fbi-statement-on-hpsci-memo

I'm wondering where you are getting the information that Wray himself says the memo shouldn't be released? It might seem obvious, but why is there no signature by anyone specific in the FBI?

    Very odd.

Is your position that the Director of the FBI didn’t support and review a statement that his office released?

The FBI director doesn’t typically sign press releases as far as I know. I believe Hoover may have 50 years ago but most of the press releases are not signed by the director.

No. If that was my position, I would have stated it.

That's a plausible answer. I just find it extremely strange given the gravity of the situation that no specific person/persons has attached their name to this statement.

Nunes has not seen the classified information. He sent several of his assistants to review the information at a memo was compiled by Nunes. Nunes would not comment on whether the White House had any input into the memorandum. The State Department early states they were against the release of the Nunes memo.

The Democrats were against releasing the Nunes memo. Once it became clear that the vote would be down party lines, the Democrats asked that the memo drafted by them (at the same time as the Nunes memo) be released if the Nunes memorandum. The vote was 100% down party lines. The vote was the Nunes memo be released but the other memo cannot be released. Trump is expected to release the memo by Nunes.

Democrats last night wrote that the purported Nunes memo shown the President is different than the one shown the committee and accordingly is improper.

The FBI put out an uncharacteristic press statement that they have grave concerns that the Nunes memo is full of inaccuracies.

You draw your own conclusion to motives.

-Memo is going to be released...probably tomorrow.
-Schiff claims the memo has changed after approved by House subcommittee. Nunes says the changes are cosmetic and don't change the statements accuracy.
-FBI statement says they have "grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy". The statement is unsigned.
-NBC reports Wray will NOT step down regardless of whether the memo is released.

There's not a lot to say till the news actually comes out. Our far left propaganda minister has already done about all the spinning he could manage so there's not much to add.

You’re right the news hasn’t came out yet but that’s never stopped the deranged. The threads have grown eerily quiet.
