Lebron isn't getting traded. Cavs are shopping their Nets pick to get Lebron more help. If you're the Cavs, you do whatever it takes to keep Lebron around next year. But I'd say Molay is making calls to see what's out there. He can't explore options he doesn't have, so he probably can't even fathom a trade possibility for Lebron at the moment.
Aside from the fact that you are a dumb F*k?? That Lebron is not going to accept a trade to any team that he doesn’t want to be on. And his list is prolly just 2 teams. Go to Houston or LA or stay in Cleveland.
No. Possibly jockey for position to move the difficult contract now. Decreases pressure to do it later. Smaller deals to get PF to replace Ryan in the interim......buyouts.
Of course he has offered Anderson and other trash for LeBron. It's a million to one shot, but look what happened when we traded for Harden. You make the offer because sometimes the other team for some strange reason says yes.
Durl has always said LBJ is the most underpaid guy (based on production) in the NBA. Of course he's looking for a bargain like that. Do work Murley!
I'm sure he's made the call to Cleveland expressing interest in such a deal , the $64,000 question is whether LBJ has put the screws to Cleveland management.
Why would the rockets trade there depth now, when they can get him in the offseason. hehe no lebron trade now.
They can make the same deal now as they can in the offseason - Anderson + Tucker and one of TW or Onuaku or Anderson and EG. That doesn't kill your depth .... Anderson is replaced and then some with Lebron you can afford to lose either of Tucker or EG and replace them with a less expensive option.
I don't think the Cavs are looking to trade LeBron. I don't think he is expecting to be traded. The deadline is fast approaching and the only teams he'd take a trade to right now might be Houston, Miami, and maybe the Thunder (but doubtful) - and none of those teams would be able to handle his cap room and keep their core intact to field a contender which is what he'd want to be traded to. More likely he gets traded in the offseason as he will likely need the Cavs help to sign somewhere.
I don't believe Lebron is asking for max. If Rox can get rid of Ryno, that will enough for Lebron to sign with Rox this summer.
Lebron can actually waive his NTC just like Melo did. The Rox would be wise to wait till summer anyway.
My response was for the idiot who thinks Cavs can cash in on Lebron.... the answer is no, they can’t. He is gonna chose the Rockets and we don’t have anything to give. Or else he isn’t gonna waive it
That's the kind of thing that would have to come from LeBron entirely. He would relay something to Chris Paul, who would relay it to Morey. But I doubt it, even with as poorly as the Cavs are playing. He likely wants to finish the year and then control the situation entirely in the summer, be courted, etc..
I'm gonna say No. His midseason moves are pretty minor and I think that's what we'll get again. No rush to majorly overhaul such a good team. It's true. I read this in topfive's newsletter weeks ago. "Darnell and Luhbronn: Gonna happen now or nah?" It was an exquisite essay that simultaneously launched me into previously unknown euphoric heights and grounded the real and tangible the need for LeBron. To read it was an honor and privilege.
