The offense doesn’t fall apart when he sits. If all they need is someone to draw a big man out of the paint there are plenty of guys who can do that and for much cheaper.

38% career VOLUME 3pt shooter is not garbage player, not in the modern nba, not on this team that shoots most 3s in the history of the universe, particularly not if you are a big , stetch 4 and can play 5 in small ball, can defend decently, proven team player, proven record and contribution to being part of 2 best offenses in the history of the universe

 

Imagine how much better they’d be if they didn’t have an anchor like Anderson bringing them down.

The point is to get even better. If Anderson was so important he wouldn’t be glued to the bench late in close games so often. The guy is an overall liability.

Ryan Anderson does NOT keep Draymond Green out of the paint. You don't understand the flexibility of the Warriors defense. They can flip Zaza out there on Anderson and drop Draymond into the paint any time they want to. Anderson doesn't prevent them from doing anything they want to do defensively. That's silliness.

Then when they go to their death lineup we are the ones that have to adjust.

Believe me......this is precisely why we have been chasing Demarcus for...years.
