    Such bad luck of Cannaan! He was playing so well in Phoenix! Come back strong!

    It's Canaan's lower leg. He landed wrong after mid-air contact.

    Somewhat gruesome, but don't watch if you're squeamish. He took the pain well.

    These days are complete jinx in the NBA. Everyday some serious injury. Just hurry up and go to ASW.

    Thanks for the heads up, instantly regretted watching the Hayward injury when it happened. Will avoid this one.

    This is being discussed in the Games thread but I wanted to put it into a news thread since I saw prayer requests for him and didn't know what was going on.

    Terrible injury... very similar to Hayward's. Hoping the best for his recovery.

    Freak injuries are terrible because its not really preventable. Yikes.

    Kevin Ware was the result of a hairline fracture getting worse and worse.
    Paul George was because of the stanchion being way too close to the court.

    Hayward and Canaan? Truly unpreventable.
