I agree. I *really* don't like Russ much and I don't care for his game I maybe a Harden Homer but Russ reminds me of George Castanza say .. look annoyed and people will think you are busy Russ looks mad and annoyed and bothered and people think he is doing more than he is he is a GREAT Player but would not be my choice to build a team around Rocket River
Paul George should be more careful with his quotes if he truly doesn’t plan to stay in OKC. He’s starting to back himself into a corner.
Russell has been smart with his offense lately and pretty efficient. Might be a bit of an issue in the playoffs if it lasts
Well he probably has 2 main things in his mind -they have beaten the top teams in the league -where else will he go with this much talent?
if theres no drama and they make a deep run in the playoffs, most likely. but theres still a good chunk of the season left and alot can happen between now and then. As we are witnessing, injuries are taking a significant hit to teams this past week alone
The Clippers offered Blake Griffin for Paul George and the Thunder turned it down. Interesting that the Thunder were not interested in the guaranteed (Griffin) over the likely to leave (George). It means the Thunder do not intend to resign George because of the massive repeater tax bill OR that the Thunder are confident Paul George will stay.
I'm sure the Thunder are confident in themselves and history in that many stars don't leave money on the table by bailing on the squad that holds Bird Rights. BUT, they may not like Griffin at that salary. I mean that contract is huge, and you can see he's not getting as high as he used to on his dunks. When that athleticism goes, he's not going to be anything special (imo). Trade for Griffin and that's your team for a long time -- Westbrook and Blake.
More likely they didn’t wanna be attached to 2 grossly overpaid and overrated PFs while severely sacrificing their defense to do so.
"Those people in Oklahoma can save their money for the rodeo. They ain't gonna be needing it for the playoffs."
Why do people talk chit about Andre Roberson all the time? He's overwhelmingly a positive impact player when he's on the court, and now that he's injured the drop in OKC's defense is huge. The guy is 2nd in Defensive RPM among all players (for a guard, this is insane) and is like + 11 in net rating. Also, OKC is 4-8 when Roberson does not play. His defense is so ridiculously good to the point where his non-existent offense doesn't even matter, because his value on defense is much greater than his liability on offense. It's simple math. Just ask Harden if Roberson is some worthless player like some people seem to believe. Andre Roberson and Luc Mbah a Moute are only players in this league that you definitely want on your squad even when they average like 2 points per game.
these clowns looked terrible. when you look at his shot selection, you have to wonder if westbrick is really cerebrally impaired
Melo is averaging 17 points on 42% shooting on 16 attempts per game, all career lows. How long do you think it will take for him to start pouting?
