James uses situations like this, such as the Clippers' trading of Griffin, to make his point about a perceived double standard in the NBA when it comes to loyalty.

"When a player gets traded, it's they was doing what's best for the franchise," he said. "But when a player decides to leave, it's, 'He's not loyal. He's a snake. He's not committed.' It's just, that's the narrative of how it goes. So I'm definitely (aware). I know that firsthand."

Yea, the Cavs franchise is burning to the ground. The roster and cap are a complete disaster. The team sucks. I don’t see anyway Lebron stays at this point.

    It’s becoming very very interesting.

    A Letter to LeBron James:

Your team is fractured. Your second best player fractured his hand tonight.
Meanwhile James Harden, who would be your equal on a team, put up a 60 point triple double. Oh, and his team has CP3. His team has a defense built to stop GS. His team has a GS level offense...without you.

    That team wants you.

    See you soon buddy.

    Stephen A.:

From what I'm hearing, in one breath, some execs in the league believe he's staying in Cleveland & will try to get Chris Paul to depart Houston to come to Cleveland. Chris Paul is the Godfather of his children & they're very close & it's something he'd love to have happen. Others tell me he will end up in Houston with James Harden & Chris Paul as opposed to Chris Paul coming to Cleveland so we don't know what that story is.

Max: CP3 to Cleveland? I find that much less likely - a cold weather city & lesser team than CP3 could lure LeBron to a warm weather huge market in Houston that if they added LeBron, would run roughshod over the West, including Golden State.

Stephen A: I told you what the execs are talking about. They're talking about those 2 scenarios. That's what they're saying they believe is going on. I believe if he leaves he's going to Houston but we don't know whether or not he'll leave. Remains to be seen.

Chris Paul is not leaving money on the table again to sign a 4 year deal in Cleveland. Also wouldn't Houston need to agree to a sign and trade? I think unless that Brooklyn pick is on the table, not happening.

I don't see Chris Paul doing that to James Harden.

Cleveland is an absolute dumpster fire... and the way this season is going... it could end on a VERY sour note... leads me to believe if something was going to be built it would be in Hou and not in CLE

Forget CP3 doing it to Harden, I don't see Morey doing it.

Cleveland isn't going to have max space next year so we'd have to help CP3 get there. Not that Morey wouldn't be willing to do that if you could make it worth his while, but Cleveland CAN'T. What would we get back? I guess maybe a CP3 for Love swap would be workable financially and MAYBE Morey would consider it if CP3 said he was leaving. I don't buy it though.

I guess if they would deal Love/Shump/Crowder and a pick for CP3 and Ryno I'd do it. That would let us clear the decks again pretty fast and give us talent in place of CP3.

Unless we are getting something like that I'd just say no, I won't help.

I don't see any point of Lebron wooing CP3 if Harden is in Houston. Try to form a big 2 in Cleveland where half the players are old and ass, or team up in Houston with an MVP caliber player in his prime and challenge the Warriors. CP3 knows this, that's why he chose Houston in the first place.

I mean, Cleveland will try that but it won't work.

We've seen this story before, Lebron had no issue going to Miami to play with Wade when he could have convinced Wade to play with him in Cleveland.

The difference between playing in Cleveland vs Houston is James Harden.

This is like asking someone if they want one million dollars or one hundred thousand. Choose one.

CP3 in Cleveland would be nice, would solve a lot of their issues, but you can just go play with CP3 in Houston.

The only way this happens is if CP3 and Harden have some kind of fallout.

Lebron also tried to convince Wade to leave Miami and join him in Cleveland in 2010. Can't blame him for trying.

completely agree. And cp3 let it be known that moving his family was one of the main issues when thinking about his career and moving it to houston. hes not going to go through all of that once again in less than a year. And to Cleveland? of all places. no
