Even when we are healthy , we need to find a way to develop more talent . I think our 9-10 guys are about as good as you can get outside of GS . But I'm getting more and more pissed that everytime someone gets hurt we cut the rotation instead of letting the next man step up . I'm starting to really loathe MDA and won't change my opinion on him until he wins a chip. And I might not even change it then , if it's due obviously to guys like James or Chris coming through with Herculean efforts .
obviously MDA isn't as good and capable as pops, kerr, stevens, casey 1. he can't manage more than 9 players a game 2. he's not proactive to practice, train, develop his roster to be ready to play the right way when needed roster wise we can't get any closer to the warriors this year. its coaching which sets us apart.
It's number 2 that kills me . I can understand playing 9 men ... That's plenty . It's that when one of those go out ... It's a very low chance that anyone else gets the mins and players 1-8 pick up slack . I remember reading something earlier this year that Mike doesn't run guys very hard in practice and he uses that to justify heavy mins . While that's all fine and dandy , it has the horrible ****ing side effect of never developing young players . Sure , they can put in individual work , but will be lacking in actual experience . If you think RJ , Troy , and Markel ( and the plethora of other young players we've flipped) are talentless bums , I guess that's one thing ..... But we've seen how much James ( and Chris ) can elevate those players ... And it boggles my mind that they aren't being developed both to keep us fresher and deeper and as trade pieces.
i like how the nba on tnt guys said d''antoni's "system" harden is THE SYSTEM. that game looked like strategy wise what mike brown did with lebron give him the ball and go score and assist.
amazing. I wish I would have stayed awake to watch it live. definitely will download to watch it now. Hopefully this will boost Harden's MVP campaign.
