It’s highly likely he knows, but the subject matter is put together to purposefully conflate and confuse.

There is pretty clear transparency now in what the end game is here. Lay the groundwork to fire Rosenstein. Rosenstein replacement shuts down or limits the Mueller probe to protect the president before he can be interviewed by Mueller.

    It’s just too obvious.

GOP is willing to destroy the FBI to protect Trump. These are dark times.

Schiff had asked to brief the committee before voting on releasing Nunes memo. Republicans refused. They had no interest in hearing anything that might contradict Nunes misleading memo. GOP is going to go after their own Justice Department to protect Trump from his crimes. Disgusting.

Trump only hires the best ... Russian spies. By all means, make the Nunes memo public.

Well, remember the questions over whether trump required a "loyalty pledge" from Comey?

What a ****wad. Screw Two Scoops, seriously. Dictators need loyalty pledges.
Real leaders in a democracy pledge loyalty to their citizens.

    https://www.npr.org/2018/01/31/5821...-concerns-about-accuracy-of-gop-snooping-memo

The FBI clashed with the White House on Wednesday over the much-discussed Republican memo that alleges it abused its surveillance powers. The bureau said it has "grave concerns" about the "accuracy" of the document that the president supports making public.

The FBI issued a rare, two-paragraph statement undercutting the position taken by President Trump and his top aides that the memo, which the House Intelligence Committee has voted to release, should be disclosed to the public soon.

"With regard to the House Intelligence Committee's memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it," the FBI said. "As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy."

The FBI statement appeared amid a bitter political fight over the memo, which was drawn up by committee Chairman Devin Nunes of California and the panel's Republican staff. Nunes and other GOP allies of Trump say the memo makes the case about an epic scandal inside federal law enforcement.

The Justice Department has already said that releasing the memo would be "extraordinarily reckless" and could hurt national security or ongoing investigations.

Nunes, a Trump ally who served on the president's transition team, responded to the FBI with a fiery statement of his own.

"Having stonewalled Congress' demands for information for nearly a year, it's no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies," he said, referring to the Department of Justice.

These people are all in on protecting the Republican president (and relevant GOP leadership) from the fallout of collusion with and being compromised by Russia/Putin. The Republican administration and Congress are going so out of the way to attack the DOJ, FBI, intel agencies or whoever may reveal or prosecute their complicit that there will eventually be no exit plan for them that maintains our system of democratic government. These people absolutely cannot afford for the opposition party (Democrats) to get control of either house of Congress, let alone win control of both houses of Congress, in 2018. Democrats could take over these committees and expose the entire enterprise...

The level of desperation of the GOP congress and administration will continue to increase as Mueller gets closer to Trump and as the 2018 election approaches. We see their plan to stop the Russia investigation coming to fruition. But what is the Republican party willing to do, beyond their usual vote suppression and gerrymandering shenanigans, to make sure they still maintain power after the election?
