I couldn't give a **** what Mueller finds. If he can credibly prove Trump is actually Putin's evil twin,

    SO BE IT.

Unlike you, I want ALL the truth out there regardless of who it hurts.

We will soon find out if you actually feel that way or just talk like you want the facts. Because your position smacks of trying to discredit Mueller.

    Based on what evidence?

Was it politicized by Democrats when Republican Comey publicly released that Hillary was being investigated again, while not notifying the public that Trump's campaign was under surveillance? Was it that the FBI investigated a foreign power's interference in our election?

I have no idea how the Democrats who have no power have somehow managed to politicize the FBI. Please explain.

No of course the Dems had no power while Obama was President and Comey, McCabe, Strozk, et al were placed at the FBI. Or while Lynch had secret meetings with Bill Clinton days before the "resolution" of the Hillary server investigation. Or when FISA warrants were issued to investigate Trump and his campaign.

    No power whatsoever!

Comey is a Republican. Lynch and Bill Clinton did not have any secret meetings, they talked very publicly. The FISA warrants were issued based on evidence other than just the Steele Dossier.

Peter Strozk, the FBI guy who trashed Clinton in his texts just as bad as he did Trump?

Who thought that he stood to gain by covering things up for Hillary because he expected her to win. It was about personal gain.

This is outright inaccurate, they spoke privately and it's fair to call it a "secret" meeting given that it wasn't a scheduled meeting and if they didn't get ratted out, no one would have known about it.

There may have been other "evidence", but when you base part of a warrant on what you know to be false propaganda then it calls the entire process into question. If it turns out that the knowingly false Russian propaganda was the bulk of the "evidence" used to be able to spy on political rivals.....I mean what does that say?

Who kept hidden from the nation the fact that Trump's campaign was under surveillance but released to the nation about Hillary being investigated again. Sorry, your charge is laughable.

Yes, it wasn't scheduled. They happened to be at the same place at the same time and spoke. They were seen doing it, so it was in public.

Again, some of the Steele Dossier that wasn't known at the time turned out to be entirely accurate. If they had other evidence, then harping on only one part of the evidence while ignoring the rest of it isn't really helping the case.

There's indisputable evidence of Hillary's guilt when it comes to actual crimes. So far there hasn't been any evidence that Trump committed a crime.....so ya know, nowhere near the same thing. Comey is the ONLY reason Hillary wasn't tried for her crimes.....and Trump hasn't even been accused of one.

    You've gotta try harder.

Your post has nothing to do with the fact that Republican Comey hurt Hillary's campaign. Because he didn't feel that her case was prosecutable doesn't change that or even show that he was biased in her favor, when he acted directly against her and could have exposed Trump's investigation at the same time but elected not to do so.

By the way, the investigation that Comey made public turned up nothing at all. It was a goose egg.

LOL he hurt it by ensuring she wasn't indicted for the crimes there is indisputable evidence against her....I mean, don't you see how that sounds kind of funny? An indictment on even half of the charges they could have gotten her on would have absolutely ended her candidacy as she'd be completely focused on avoiding jail time by pleading to a lesser charge like most civilians who potentially face that charge instead of campaigning. I'm pretty sure you know these things, but you try to spin the situation anyway.

Well, unlike you, I trust that Republican Comey was more focused on whether indicting her would lead to a successful prosecution, and be worth the resources it would to take to make the prosecution. I don't think he should have indicted simply to tie her up so she couldn't run for President.

Again, he announced the FBI would be investigating Hillary, and that there was no way it would complete before the election. He said this even though they could have easily gone through the laptop and cleared in less than two days. That isn't the action of someone who has been politicized and is trying to cover for a candidate.

It's clear you made up your mind and won't let actual events or facts change that.

Well, in reality, he was setting himself up by rescuing who he thought would be the next president. Him and the rest of those involved with making the Hillary case go away were perfectly set up to benefit from a Hillary presidency, now that corruption has cost them their careers.

The fact that you know for a fact that she's guilty of crimes that carry decade prison sentences and still side with the people that made the case go away shows that politics likely sways your opinion. You wouldn't feel that way if we knew Trump was guilty of similar crimes and he had people make the case go away.

So again, you resort to pretending like you know Comey's motivations for everything he did and have made up an elaborate story about some political machinations which would fit into whatever dystopian mind novel you pretend that you live in.

I could care less if Hillary goes to prison for any crime she committed. You can script whatever dystopian fantasy you would like about all of this, but don't expect very many people to buy into it.

It's the only logical motivation given that when you have indisputable evidence of crimes and you are in his position, you recommend prosecution. There's no valid reason not to do so.....and again, pretend it was Trump and not Hillary, are you suggesting you'd be fine with that? Of course not and neither would I.

Most likely if he had done his job, Hillary would have been indicted and she'd have plead guilty to a lesser crime and probably gotten away with probation and that would have been the end of it. Instead the corruption of the FBI is something that needs to be addressed.

I just wonder if all of these people who seem to think the FBI is beyond reproach will feel the same way when and if they start investigating and charging people within the FBI and DOJ who committed crimes. I am sure they will then say the FBI is now corrupt under Trump. Their responses over the next few weeks / months should be pure comedic gold.

Hence the bad precedent Trump set by firing Comey. The DOJ has always been politicized (see Bobby Kennedy, and others), and you can check my post history where I’ve said multiple times that there should be stricter guidlines around being able to politically appoint any AG, but the FBI leadership always had the confidence because they are viewed as career guys, and the director gets a 10 year term. That made a difference in the past.

Now the FBI purge means that the FBI heads in place will ultimately be viewed as partisan under the next admin by no fault of their own regardless of how fair they conduct themselves. They have Trump to blame for putting Wray and others in a partisan lense moving forward.

If you can’t see why purging the FBI is bad for the country moving forward I don’t know what to tell you.

The FBI is certainly not beyond reproach. But when the only evidence that shows the FBI to be completely corrupt is a fantasy concocted by @Bobbythegreat on a basketball website, then it doesn't hold much water.

It holds less water when the FBI has been run by Republican folks who did things to damage the Clinton campaign.

When I see actual evidence, I'll be more than happy to jump on the trash the FBI and DOJ bandwagon.
