I get a feeling that will change quickly if he takes two threes per game and makes none.

Except Draymond plays a lot more minutes than Ryno and even when they’re on the floor at the same time the Warriors aren’t dumb and they will stick someone else on the 3 pt shooting statue.

Sorry for the late response. I've been gone since friday. Maybe you're right, but I still have trouble believing that Bell, McCaw and Looney make it worth it. The two picks are the last in the first round. I'd honestly rather have the first pick in the 2nd round than the last in the 1st round. At least you can gamble with your pick and try to find a diamond in the rough without paying them the 1st rounder money & years.

Jordan Bell is a 224 pound center who finishes well at the rim, but not against big players. His successes mostly come when people are switching. I'm not so sure that's something New Orleans would expect with their roster. I just don't see a 6-9 224 pound center turning into a valuable asset.

I'm not even going to try to make a case that Looney or McCaw will be stars. They probably won't. There isn't anything there that tells me otherwise.

Iggy is worthless going forward. His contract is big and long and he's a bench player ultimately.

Boogie is an allstar scoring 25 points, grabbing 13 boards a game and picking up 5 1/2 assists. This man is a dream type player. So why would New Orleans not just give the playoffs a shot and see what happens? It's certainly better than trading for 5 **** players and an albatross contract in the latest years of a has-been's career.

There are probably 15 teams in the league that can offer more than that. I'm certain that Boogie is worth a 1st rounder in the lottery. Dude is balling these days. Your trade reeks of desperation, but it's not like Boogie has to go wherever he wants. He doesn't have a NTC. He's just the best player on a mediocre playoff team that might get hot.

Golden State needs to think about trading someone like Klay Thompson if they really want a player of this caliber.

Edit: Just found out that the Boogie injury was an achilles. Oops. :)

    lmao

do you choose what to completely ignore when arguing? i did thi at least a million times and others have too so i'll try to be fast

you guys say "ryan isnt just a good stretch 4, he has elite floor spacing, probably the best for a big"
we say "he didnt have much of it in the playoffs, and didnt have it again for the 2nd half of the games he's played this season"

you guys counter with "ryan isnt just a good stretch 4, he has elite floor spacing, probably the best for a big"
i respond with "WHAT THE ****ING ****!!!!!!"

thats EXACTLY what you are doing specifically to me. had ryan not been on this nasty slump since the 2nd week of december, the only argument i'd have about his floor spacing is if he can do it in the playoffs

plz dont argue little insignificant technical details. obviously he wasnt complete trash in the playoffs and this season after 2nd week of december

he has yet to be a consistent threat as the best floor spacing big to be worth a starting spot on a contender. even f he didnt have a nasty slump in this season, he'd still have to prove it in the playoffs.

lord have mercy on you ryan extremists lmao

I don’t think anyone arguing this point. The frustration is that Ryno is not shooting as often as he should and when he does it’s with so much hesitation that Rockets are now pulling him out in waning seconds of games that they need a 3 to win or tie.

Ryno will have little impact against GS...he will get worked on defense, and he’ll be nowhere near the court if it’s still a game in the 4th quarter for a reason

I agree last year (sort by 3Pmade)

    https://www.basketball-reference.co...0&c4stat=pts&c4comp=gt&c4val=440&order_by=pts

But this year he's around 7th tied with Kuzma

    https://www.basketball-reference.co...0&c4stat=pts&c4comp=gt&c4val=450&order_by=pts

but during his 25 game mega slump (more than half of the games played this season)

    he's around 20th behind Olynyk

He is not the effective floor spacer he was last year, probably because he’s stopped shooting

Exactly. My biggest issue with Ryno is his lack of shots. Part of it is him, part of it is D'Antoni, but the fact is that If he is not getting a high volume of threes, then he should not be out there for longer than 15-20 minutes, period. They NEED to consider bringing him off the bench as a short burst scorer. When he is in there, give him the greenest of all green lights and If he isn't shooting like a mad man, take him out. Alvin Gentry had him BALLING off the bench in NO. Take the "Starter pressure" off of him and watch opposing benches lose track of him when he subs in the game.

Usually he plays C and it is actually Capela that is out of the game against GSW, though.

If Ryno is on the bench in crunch time that is great news, because it finally means that Clint has grown enough to not be terrible against the Warriors. :D

What happened to this guy being in sync with CP3?? wasnt he making like 70% of shots with CP feeding him.

Now he wobt even attempt unless he has no one near him

Anderson with CP3 in the 2nd unit to start the 2nd quarter was pretty deadly. Rockets really chewed up other teams backups.
