@wojespn: Story posting soon on ESPN: Detroit has made starting shooting guard Avery Bradley available in trade talks. Acquired in July trade with Celtics, B...
Thanks, @mikol13. 15 points a game, can defend and has shot the three well the past couple of seasons... expiring contract also. I'm guessing Detroit is looking for a first-round pick.
Not sure the Rockets are interested, but i love the idea of the Rockets getting him. Being able to throw multiple defenders at Curry and others would be great.
this guy defends Curry so good (Man he would be nice on the Rockets) I dont know what we can trade for him, but he would help tremendously
Defense has supposedly fallen off*, free agent to be,...meh. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pistons have made Avery Bradley (groin) available in trade talks. Bradley had his best season with the Celtics in 2016-17, but he's been a major bust since joining the Pistons. He has an expiring contract and is now battling a sore right hamstring on top of his groin issue. The Pistons are 3-11 since Reggie Jackson went down and keep sliding in the standings, but their asking price for Bradley is "significant" and they are hoping to improve at the deadline as opposed to rebuilding. Wojnarowski adds that Bradley could command in the $20 million annual range in free agency, a ridiculous amount based on his play this season. All these teams want a first (and more) but no one is a Nikola Mirotic, Wes Matthews, Avery Bradley away. *Lowe: The Pistons are 22-23, under .500. If they go 2-5 in their next 7, I can see Avery Bradley becoming available. Avery Bradley for Frye & the Cavs pick...Avery Bradley always plays the Warriors well. Windhorst: True, even though Bradley's defensive RPM numbers are so bad.
Bradley to OKC for T-Ferg, Abrines, and a 1st round pick. Now that I think about it, OKC would have to send another contract over to match salaries and avoid the luxury tax before attempting to resign PG.
very solid player. one of the best on the ball defensive guards in the league. hes been bit by the injury bug this year he doesnt work for them bc they're trying to put him in a position to where hes one of the their feature players. hes not that type of player. he needs to be next to a scoring guard as a compliment.
Yup. Presti will trade something like Raymond Felton and a 2nd rounder for Bradley. Happens all the time.
Bradley will be heading to OKC to keep the Shaq Streak alive when they win a championship, having one under contract is required to win since 1984. Warriors have no shaq teammates, (had Barnes and Barbosa when they won), Rockets have no Shaq teammates, Cavs have Lebron and Wade. Cavs and Thunder will be in the finals and the Thunder will win. EDIT: The Mavs had Alexander Pavolvic for 2 10-day contracts but was not on the team by the time the playoffs started, he played with shaq in cleveland in 2009.
Don't think that would do it, but add picks, fillers and a salary dump from them (Boban) and it might. Anderson, Black, Willaims, 2020 1st and future 2nd's For Leuer, Bradley and Boban That would be a nice deal for both teams IMO.
OKC is likely 'all in' on this season, so you may be right. I could see something like this -- though OKC doesn't have a first-round pick to trade. They traded their 2018 pick when they acquired Kanter from Utah in 2015 and their 2020, while protected 1-20, is traded/committed from when they acquired Jerami Grant. Truth is a lot of these teams want a first rounder now, but they'll take what they can get when it gets to the deadline. I could see a young player like Ferguson netting someone decent for OKC.
