Harden is not winning mvp. Don’t bother getting into it. It doesn’t matter what he does or where the team finishes, the media will find the narrative they need to push for someone else. Best to just let it go. Last year ruined the award for me.

don't get your hope up, they will find sth to go against Harden's case just like any previous years. all i want is rockets beat warriors in the playoff this year!

If Harden maintains his current stats-wins and doesn't win MVP, I'm wishing bad happenings upon some people.

These fools are playing with people's legacy and money.

Harden is not the clear front runner. The media has to want you to win and craft a narrative for you to be the clear front runner.

One year after salivating over "no help" narratives, giving it to somebody with 3 All Stars surrounding him would be uber-hilarious.

But you're right. I could see it happening as well.

It's a media driven award with no set criteria

Agreed, which is why Harden will never win one.

because most in the national media don't like anything from Houston, especially James Harden...

I don't expect Harden to win any MVPs after the last 2 runner ups.

The only thing out of Houston the national media liked was seeing us suffer during the hurricane:mad:

Let’s not forget that one professor that said we got what we deserved during Harvey:mad:

Don't look now, but Westbrook is playing great basketball, as are the Thunder.

I listened to the Locked On Podcast with David Locke featuring Ben Golliver last week. Not only did they both say Harden is their MVP, David Locke said he thinks Harden is already one of the 5 best offensive players of all time. David Locke is one of the Jazz's broadcasters.

Its funny how Westbrook isn't even in the conversation this year after winning last year. Media should be ashamed of themselves for making that stat-padder MVP last season

Westbrook gonna "mean mug" his way into the MVP discussion. It's coming.

BTW, "mean mugging" means "he really cares and is passionate!" Look at that fire! - media

Harden better start having some big games soon...the media is already reaching and using twisted logic in order to hand the award to somebody like Steph

I’m gonna need 35-40 points in a win against Cleveland on Saturday on ABC

Harden's already had plenty of games like that. The media just doesn't care, and the certainly don't care that it happened earlier in the season. This is basically how he lost the MVP last year.
