happy with the win. The Rockets never looked in any real danger and just cruised to victory

but Harden has been playing with the weight of the Houston franchise on his back since he got here. Harden's back is probably 32.

So it's his fault that he switches ? I'm 100 percent sure that's following instructions from the coaches .

Clint was 3/4 from the field until he took that last jumper ... How could he have blown a "couple" easy layups ? I count 1 miss .

Tyson was in the paint . Clint was on the perimeter . That's why Chandler had more boards . If you were watching the game you would know that when both guys were battling each other that Clint had the advantage on the boards .

And this is why MDA and the Rockets have to save Harden from himself.

Absolutely . But you and I both know that if harden was sitting those last 2 minutes then we lose .

Cp3 was a gift from the heavens because it enables Mike to run his system for 48 minutes .

I'm really starting not to like MDA.

His stubbornness is grating . He complains about things ( like energy and tired legs) that he has control over . He hasn't developed a backup point here . He runs a short rotation (usually ) so we don't have any in-game development ... And apparently he doesn't coach much during practices .

Harden led us to 56 wins and the 2 seed while playing for Mchale . If MDA can't do much better with a roster tailored to his system and with CP3 .... Then what does that say about his coaching . Then , of course , there's playoffs .

I dont want to put Doc in the same sentence as Brad and Pop, it is impressive that he can string together wins with half his team injured though. He is showing the league that Celtics championship wasnt just because he had stars.

    Chris?

He didn't feel quite right so I said you're done for the night, get treatment started. I think he's fine.

    Trevor?

Re-evaluated tomorrow I'm sure. Hurt his hamstring. Hope it's minor but will find out more tomorrow.

Playing down to level of competition?

We didn't play well. Spirit wise, energy wise, that wasn't pretty but a W is a W. Flush this one down and go on. Hopefully we learn from it. Dog days right now. Gotta find it within themselves to concentrate for 48 minutes and get W's.

Trevor going out dampen the mood?

Didn't help. At the same time, gives other guys opportunity to play more minutes. I could feel the energy in the building when I walked in at 11. I was worried. Our energy level wasn't where it needed to be. Middle of January, sure that's an excuse but we gotta be better.

More concern with Trevor than Chris?

I would say yes. That's my medical opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

Something in the 3rd Q that helped stretch the lead?

Wish I could stay something positive, I can't. Couldn't find anything. Just didn't play well. Our spirit wasn't as good as it needed to be.

You mentioned the energy level, how will you prepare for Orlando?

Beg a lot. They'll be ready. They won't mess up two times in a row.

Are we really paying this guy until he is 38? It makes no sense to give him $200mm, he's turning 33 in May. It's like telling Tony Parker this off-season hey take a 3 year $90mm deal.
