After being in CLE and knowing his brand is bigger than any market what benefit does LA have over any other market in the case or LBJ? His agent has already noted winning is more important than the market location because winning is what’s best for his brand.

And why go to a team that is “gonna” be good in a few years when there are teams that are good right now? Why wait a year or two to make a run or even risk that “gonna” isn’t ever gonna happen?

I could see OKC or SAS before LAL....

Clearly you didn’t read my posts because I showed a bunch of contracts that add up to 20 mil.
I actually thought Houston would get Durant for a while until that summer after that disasterous season and was way off on that. I never thought we’d get Melo because I just couldn’t see anyone besides Phil Jackson willing to take Ryno and give up anything to make it work. I couldn’t see Chris Paul coming to Houston because of his point guard abilities fitting in with Hardens and just making a lot more sense for him to join Pop and Kawhi. I’m aware I’m wrong a bunch. I’m not wishing bad things for my Rockets, but I’m also not delusional in thinking things like Ryno is someone anyone covets. Going to have to wait until he just has 1 year left on his deal is what I think; that’s all.

Lebron wants to win bro, no to babysit some kids, sure, they can sign a guy like George, that's still not enough to be a contender like Houston.

    LeBron to the Lakers?
    OKC?
    Rockets?

None of you know and really, if the Rockets win it all then for sure he won't come.
But if they go long and hard in WC final then they may have chance.

OKC doesn't as they have to convince PG to stay first and they don't have the money to sign him.

If you think he will demand a trade you are nuts.

But cup is mostly empty for some...

Well let's just do a simple process of elimination.

LeBron wants to win, that's a fact. He's approaching legacy territory now in his career, and his sights are firmly set on where he's going to finish in NBA folklore.

'4-5 good years left with some players young players, that could run Warriors out of the gym soon'

So, the Rockets have kind of shown the world they can run with the Warriors now without LeBron.

Houston > LA and that's clear.

    'could even get Paul George'

So, James Harden is a better player than Paul George.

Houston > LA and that's clear.

We haven't even touched on the fact that Chris Paul is also better than Paul George, and just happens to be one of LeBron's best friends.

Houston > LA and that's clear.

A whole lot of ifs in your post, when there's a whole lot of common sense in Houston.

Once Ryno is moved I will be fully in on the Lebron hype train. Until that happens it is still wishful thinking at this point

I can't see LeBron going to KD's old stomping grounds.

You mentioned PPat, Singler, Albrines, and Roberson in a trade for LBJ. That doesn't qualify for LBJ at 35.6M simple as that. No one has been delusional about Ryno's value. The only delusional people here are the one's that mention spacing in every post defending him. Everyone knew it was a horrible contract which is the only reason anyone entertained dealing with Melo. As to the Melo deal, the players were informed it was going through. You didn't have a crystal ball knowing the deal would fall through. The deal was a victim of bad timing. The deal was never just Ryno going to the Knicks, there were other options. New GM wanted to impress ownership and didn't want to deal with Rockets, other teams moved on with other plans, asking price went up. We wisely didn't move forward. We knew Ryno could be moved and still can be moved. The trick is doing it as cheaply as possible.

Ok. Last post to reply to you cuz you seem to change narratives to make points. I clearly said Lebron would not get the max if he wants to join a contender, meaning in a sign and trade I don’t expect a team to send out $35 million in contracts. I’ve also said this is my speculation, meanwhile you are CERTAIN Ryno can be moved. You’re twisting words, taking my thoughts as if I was claiming them to be facts, and then making claims that you don’t know to be true.
Honestly not sure if you’re doing this purposely or you missed a previous post.

Lebron would also like to top Kareem and become the nba's all time leading scorer

He can do that in L.A. where he can get away with taking an unlimited amount of shots like Kobe, while making insane amounts of money/tv/movies/marketing--setting up post basketball career networkings.

Right on. Everyone with half a brain knows that Houston is the best destination for LeBron, even the inept media.

The problem is the logistics of the trade and the x factor, Dan Gilbert.

Sure. Just how most rumours don’t come to fruition. Sure. As I’m sure you have and all people on this forum. When it comes down to what a player is thinking; where does CP3 prefer to play, who does Lebron prefer, it’s always a guess seeing we aren’t in these people’s head; I don’t think it’s necessary to point that out. When it came down to Melo, it came down to logic and common sense which too many people ignore around here.

Haha. All good. Hard to tell who’s joking and who’s not, but either way, responses are never in anger; sometimes frustration.
    My bad

Also, let’s all take a moment, including myself and appreciate the fact that we are the NUMBER 2 team in the league right now!!!! And after tonight we will either separate ourselves from Boston a little more or bridge the gap with Golden State!

This bodes well for a LBJ departure from CLE. Here’s to hoping the rockets look attractive from a winning standpoint and from a loyalty/treating your star players right standpoint.
