We are going to give all 30 of those minutes to Ariza, Tucker and Luc? Guys that we already have been talking about trying to keep their minutes down.
None of those guys would be able to have the rebounding that Anderson brought against GSW this year- 13 in our last game and averaged 9 in the 3 games against them. And we would be committed to constantly playing a an undersized PF for the rest of the season, even if we meet a team like SAS in the playoffs.


I'm not saying Anderson is crucial to what we do. I'm not saying that we shouldn't trade him if there is some kind of option to try to upgrade or replace him.

But I am saying that we are too good and too close to being championship contenders to lose him for nothing

Yeah, he makes some nice hustle plays here and there, grabs some rebounds, but on offense he's actively hurting the team whenever he passes up an open look. I don't recall if it was an Anderson play or not, but a couple of nights ago I remember one of the Rockets passing on an open shot and the camera cut to D'Antoni on the sideline, sitting in a chair with an exasperated look on his face, telling the guy next to him, "You have to shoot the ball." Anderson is doing that almost all the time now.
