Where is the option for the Lebron opt in and trade?

I don't want that soap opera that follows Lebron everywhere he goes anywhere near the Rockets. I am also not a fan of paying that kind of money to a guy who is 34 already and people have been saying will check out when things start going south.

Very limited options, but chose #2 since Wade should definitely not be a part of any deal and I'd like to us go after a big man or a Paul George type rather than the drama queen from Ohio.

 

C Paul and Lebron should split $40m between them. They will be 33 and 34 next season. Durant, Green, Thompson and Curry will all be 30 or younger IIRC.

If they are serious about beating the Warriors in 2019, they have to understand it will not happen with them 2 making their max while a far younger Warriors team has players on excellent contracts. They will need rest and we will need quality depth to supplant them as they decline. Durant was at least as good as Lebron last season. That trend ain't going to stop. Nor is it for Curry vs Paul. Harden is the best player in the world, but he will be have a tougher task than any of Durant or Curry.

2 years and $40m with player option on year 2. They each leave about 10 on the table while James Harden makes the max. That's pretty fair, and that's at least what it would take to give Morey as many weapons as the Warriors GM whats his face.

If leborn can sign old player contract, let sign him. He is old and unable to give great impact. We have Eg, Harden, Capela and Cp3, it is big 4. Capela is very important, we cannot trade him.

Really Lebron needs the rockets more then we need him (hes the best player in the world) he can turn a franchise from the worst to the best. We need to do whatever is needed to get him (While keeping Harden and Chris Paul) no ifs or buts.. this is a chance to win multiple championships.. you have to do all you can, even if that means losing Capela and signing older veterans to MIN

 

If Lebron is still trying to catch Jordan, as far as ring count is concern, he needs the Rockets.

 

If you get Lebron, you are going into the luxury tax to re-sign everybody whose rights you retain and are able to go into luxury tax territory to keep. That means Capela first and foremost, but you have to get him to agree not to Chandler Parsons us and sign a deal on midnight the first night he is able to. Almost assuredly we lose LMM and Green. People more familiar with the CBA will have to tell me what ability we have to retain Ariza, especially if he is looking for a raise to the 15M/yr range like rumors have it. I am doubtful unfortunately.
