Read my post above. Not true at all what you're saying. I've seen people get hit for saying all lives matter in a BLM protest lol. They absolutely believe their race deserves special treatment, just like white privilege people have deep seeded hate for anyone that has any power, recognition, etc. that's not white. SIL
Read this and see if the belief, chants, and motion don't sound a little similar. In Sterling’s Baton Rouge, 125 people were arrested; an officer struck with a projectile lost several teeth. In Chicago, protesters broke through a police barricade, and multiple people were arrested on charges of battery against police. And in Castile’s St. Paul, Minn., more than 100 protesters were arrested when protesters used an overpass over Interstate 94 to throw rocks and rebar at police, injuring 21 officers, including one who suffered broken vertebrae when a concrete block was dropped on him from above. When one officer was injured, protesters cheered: “One piggly-wiggly down!” That was just the extra, the main piece was this... Micah Johnson, the shooter, told a hostage negotiator that he was angry on behalf of Black Lives Matter and “wanted to kill white people, especially police officers.” Johnson’s Facebook page revealed an affinity for black nationalism, and he followed a Facebook group called the “African American Defense League,” which encouraged followers to “ATTACK EVERYTHING IN BLUE EXCEPT THE MAIL MAN” and “sprinkle Pigs Blood.” Johnson seems to have been the mirror-image of Dylann Roof, the white nationalist who killed nine black people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., last year. You're telling me, they aren't bad. And like 3 crimes still? They're bad, dude. They leverage the victim card to form a hate group (against police), and generally white folks. SIL
Grown men are having a legitimate dicussion @Sweet Lou 4 2 @JayGoogle . We'd appreciate it if you made like Waldo, and got lost. Stick to living your pathetic life. SIL
Oh it's not the facts that are racist, it's the racist who cherry picks facts and wields them with willful ignorance that's well, racist. It's also the racist who advocates racial discrimination and hides behind freedom as the basis. It's also the racist who when confronted with examples of systemic racism denies their effects and claims we're all merely a product of our choices. I mean we've already gone over how full of **** you are on the subject, why do you want to keep pretending?
Pretty grown up take. Most white people that say all lives matter are simply trying to undermine the protest. That you quote a stupid boxer kind of speaks to how infantile your grasp of the subject matter is. Aside from that, really grown up and stuff. CW
You do know that when someone says "all lives matter" they don't literally mean that. They are poking fun at their movement by ignoring a obvious qualifier that every individual with common sense picks up. "Black lives matter.... Also". That was the common sense sentiment from the movement and only people which thought they were clever by trying to dismiss the movement as a black supremacist movement kept on repeating "all lives matter". At this point, you have to be trolling to not pick that up. If you geniunly believe people who retort with "all lives matter" aren't trolling, the you are just a dunce.
When I see somebody get jumped for saying that, then um...idk man. Theyre not all on the same page then. When public figures are asked to apologize, then what? You realize just a simple Google search of alm vs BLM has a very strong disagreement with you. There are people who say it with intent, and they're blm activists that take literal offense. If you don't believe me, go to a BLM protest and say it. See what happens. If you don't believe it's genuine, you shouldn't worry. SIL
@fchowd0311 was Mayweather trolling? Genuinely, I don't believe so. I do believe some do it to irritate. But I think a lot say it with purpose. And they get hate for it, which is absurd. 0:26 / 3:12 Share SIL
They take literall offense(assuming your claims of systemic slapping and assault are true) because that troll narrative gets repeated on blast 24/7 and they keep on repeating that it obviously means "BLM.. also" and it changes nothing.
But to beat people up for it? I don't think they beat people up because they're irritated that it's taken away from BLM statement only. But if that's why, you still don't beat up people for it, do you agree? I think they beat people up because they want to establish their superiority also. It's a small sample size. But I've seen first hand their actions and the words they spew when they did it. It doesn't align with just irritated. It was demonstrative and racially provoked. SIL
Ok, but again, what's his intent. There are idiots on both sides. Are Migos triplets the brightest? SIL
I used to think that. I have a long posting history here, so someone could maybe even find a quote from me. I don't believe that anymore. There persist systemic discriminations in the way our society functions that routinely hand minorities of all kinds worse outcomes than their white, Western, cis, male peers. Insisting on color blindness and other forms of utterly nondiscriminatory mechanisms in overt governance decisions is a way to ensure that white, Western, cis males can continue to enjoy the fruits of the systemic discrimination that is not written down in any law or rulemaking. Color blindness is not the opposite of racism, and color-blind governance does not produce a discrimination-free society. If we really want to make progress regarding discrimination, we have to recognize the different outcomes for races, genders, etc, find the root causes of the disadvantage, and proactively fix them.
So basically the only way to combat discrimination is with more discrimination. Yup, that's pretty much where people are at today.
I don't think so - you don't seem open to the idea that BLM is about "Black Lives Matter Too" and have dismissed them as a hate group because in your eyes they aren't "All lives matter" which is exactly what they are essentially saying
