Somehow I can’t see us adding Mario Chalmers to this team.

    8. Luc Mbah a Moute* $1,471,382 Key reserve

Can we just take a moment and appreciate this? Dude is easily worth 12+m a year.

Exactly. People b**** about Nick Young and Omri Casspi taking paycuts to ring chase in Golden State, but having Prince and Tuck for under $10M is pretty ****ing nice.

The funny thing is that not a lot of teams were chasing luc. I dont know about casspi and Young tho, but we were soooo lucky a garbage team didnt throw 10+m at him. (I'm not sure if he wouldn't have signed here regardless, since i dont think he's about the $)

If we're a Mario Chalmers or Aaron Afflalo away from catching the Warriors, I'd say we're in a pretty good position!!

Afflalo can punch Steph Curry and knock him out > easy finals.

Chalmers is so dirty, he might get him injured in the first game

    I haven't even read it yet, but I'll hazard a guess . . . media conspiracy

lol, all that analysis for afflalo and mario chalmers.

but good analysis nonetheless. I do think our entire season hinges on the health of cp3, assuming the injury history of him versus the rest of our roster. Hence, looking for another backup pg could be good for us. Someone like a chalmers is alright, but I guess with our options, I don't know who else is better with what we have available to give. Maybe it is a good thing to look for veterans whose emphasis is defense (even if their kinda older), and can hit the occasional 3 ball.

I thought that we are 2-1 against them this year. By definition, isn't that more than catching up?

I know we joke, but Afflalo would actually be a nice get at the deadline.

dumb article. Whenever I read trade ideas I just ask myself, will this player make the rotation? If the answer is no, they will have no effect on the team this season. Would Mario Chalmers or Afflalo make the rotation on the Rockets as constructed? No. So can they help us catch the Warriors? No. Will they help us in the playoffs? No. What then, is the point of giving up ANYTHING for them? Might as well do nothing, or scour the buyout market.

I hope a decent PF can shake loose. Someone that can rebound and is active around the paint. At least 6'9. I think right now that is our biggest weakness. Clint gets a lil soft at times and Nene is just not athletic enough anymore to rim protect. Tucker is tough, but too short. We have enough offense on the perimeter.
