Honestly- I'm ok with this. Chris Paul has been amazing this year, no doubt. He has undoubtedly been better than Klay and Lillard and debatably better than Westbrook. But he has missed 17 games out of 45. That's a lot. Let him stay home and rest his knees.
Curry was voted in as a starter so it's not apples to apples. Also, Curry is a better player than Paul so that's not a good argument either. Paul should be selected above Klay or Lillard. He is a better player by far than either of them and contributes to winning to the tune of the second best team in the league. Morey is going to go nuts.
I think CP3 deserves to be an all star more than Klay and Lillard, but since he has missed many games, I am OK with this. Just don't rob Harden's MVP again because he "has too much help", I mean he doesn't even have an all star teammate.
I wanted to see Lebron, CP3, and Harden on the same team together I’ll just have to wait until next season after Bron leaves Cleveland
This means Harden HAS to be MVP... Right? How can they give Durant the MVP when he apparently has 3 all-stars on his team and Harden doesn't have any? I'm fine with Dame, he's been overdue...but Klay? Bump that.
Russell Westbrook turned Paul George into a underwhelming spot up shooter, while Oladipo is now an All Star It'll never not be hilarious
Lolz, Klay is by far one of the most overrated "all-stars" to be voted in every year. It's ridiculous. At this point I don't know that I have as much to argue with for draymond's selection. But for klay, cmon ... "best 2-way player in the league" ... ya right. We all know if he's THE guy on his team, his defense will noticeably slip and his overall offensive game (noticeably his lack of playmaking) will be exposed since he wont be able to bank on another player drawing all the attention to kick to him. If we're awarding 3 & D guys all-star votes over franchise players, then I think we're missing something as to what the "all-star" game is about. I just don't get why he's voted in consistently every single year for being part of a great team. Didnt these people selecting the players watch this past saturday's game??? apparently barkley's best backcourt in the nba got TRASHED by ours, led by cp3, and harden easing back into peak form. Lillard is good and is THE guy for his team so I'm not mad about that. I would even say that with paul's injuries and the love he's gotten for so long, that Lillard should get it. I'm cool with him resting.
LMAO Klay freaking Thompson. I want to see one single GM or coach who thinks Thompson is a better player than CP3. What a bunch of bull Wolves Cavs and Wizards get to have 2 all star but the Rockets only 1.
Maybe this will cause a rift with the Warriors if Green and Thompson are not picked by Curry the first chance he's given *crossing fingers*
not surprised. 17 games is just a little too many games to miss. but at the end of the day cp3 is still one of the best in the league
