At the beginning of the season , we all thought Clint was gonna get alley-oops for days . Why hasn't it played out this way so far ?

Harden is obviously a bit out-of-sync on his finer passing coming back from injury ... No need to worry about that methinks .

But , the cp3 lobs have been almost non-existent all season . He's opted for more bounce passes , which have worked OK . Clint has gotten stronger as a finisher off of those passes and he can draw and-1's ... But surely a slam-dunk lob is preferable to Clint having to try and muscle up over multiple defenders.

It could be that teams are sending help on Clint , but that would mean we would be getting lots of WIDE OPEN 3's .... And frankly we shoot a lot of threes , but I would say that i havent noticed enough of those to explain for the lack of lobs .

Is CP3 looking to score more?

Can Clint not attack the same way Griffin and Jordan could ?

Are we saving this for the playoffs ?

Plot to keep Clints stats ( and salary) down?

CP3 throws what he considers the pass available to him. Jordan was not only taller than Capela, but seems to get higher too. I think CP3, being as short as he is, feels lobs to Capela might be easier to contest then slipping passes through the seem without being contested. CP3 is DEFINITELY doing a lot more hook passes to the wings though, so there is that.

Well CP3 does throw different passes than Harden. One factor might be height, it's not as easy for him to throw over the defense.

I think they also play Harden tighter because he's a bigger threat to score, so that opens up the lob.

Maybe Harden is just better at lobs.

Basically Deandre Jordan and Blake Griffin are athletic freaks and are capable of catching lobs most people can't.

Capela is a solid player but he's nowhere near Deandre and Blake's athleticism.

Do you think Clint's heel injury is playing into it ?

Clint didn't have much time with Cp3 at the begging of the season because Chris was out ... And now I think Clint is still a bit banged up.

I guess my question is do you think it can develop this year ?
