When they said practice there it was in the context of going through an organized full team practice. Harden has done shootarounds and individual workouts. Those have all been posted in here when they happened. It's not like he's going to get out of a wheel chair for the first time and step straight onto the court.
what makes you and some other think Harden or the rockets rushing this? No one knows how he really feels except for himself & the doctors. If he's feeling good and pain free he'll come back like he intends to.. This is Harden's first major injury.. Him and the rockets management are not as dumb as some of u assume they are or them/he is rushing back for regular season games and not look at the bigger picture... I'm sure he'll be fine. Hamstring injury is shitty. i experienced it myself and was out for a month before i can run again... and once i was good to run it was pain free.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...-james-harden-return-thursday-barring-setback Rockets plan for James Harden to return Thursday against Wolves 11:33 AM CT Tim MacMahonESPN Staff Writer Facebook Twitter Facebook Messenger Pinterest Email print comment The Houston Rockets plan for star guard James Harden to return from a hamstring strain Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, barring any setbacks during Wednesday's practice, league sources told ESPN. Harden, who has missed the last seven games, is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's home game. Harden suffered a Grade 2 strain of his right hamstring on a driving layup during the fourth quarter of the Rockets' Dec. 31 double-overtime victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The team announced the following day that Harden would be reevaluated in two weeks. Houston went 4-3 without Harden, an MVP frontrunner who leads the NBA in scoring (32.3 points per game) and ranks third in assists (9.1). It is the most significant injury of Harden's nine-year career. He has been remarkably durable, missing a total of only two games in the previous three seasons. Harden is also awaiting a disciplinary ruling from the NBA office after sources say he was one of four Rockets who entered the Los Angeles Clippers' locker room through a back door after Monday's loss to the Clippers. Sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that Rockets forward Trevor Ariza was the primary aggressor with All-Star guards Chris Paul and Harden described as attempting to cool off Ariza inside the Clippers' locker room.
I'm not getting posts like these. Is this supposed to be sarcasm or something? Obviously that's a terrible idea for many reasons lol.
Let him take until march chilling with the guys ,April he can dedicate the whole month to practicing hard. Then finally in May we unleash a fresh Harden while other teams are tired. Sure we get the 4th seed but will be okay. This is sarcasm.
Ha, well I got the sense that yours was sarcasm but there's been a lot of ppl saying "shut him down for a month" and such. I do think he shouldn't be rushed back if he has a chance at re injuring it.
