    Yeah, DJ provides a domineering presence around the rim that CC simply cannot offer. He's just a bigger, more powerful 5... and that translates to more dominant rebounding, more emphatic finishing, and more imposing interior defense, all of which we need out of that position right now. Not to mention, he's more rugged, can maintain his level of production for 35+ minutes, and is a hometown kid (return reinvigorates him). It makes too much sense, especially at a discount.

    Shiiiit I will pack Clint's bags and make sure they open the Clippers locker room door for him this time.

    Clint was a great pick and has improved, but he isn't near the defensive player inside that Jordan is.

    Doesn't get bullied in the paint. Plays with force.
    Is the NBA's #1 rebounder.
    Is almost never injured.
    Can play 36+ minutes a night CONSISTENTLY.

    If you sent Clint + I Don't Know Who (no, not Voldemort; it would have to be Ryan Anderson) to a third team so that we don't have EVEN MORE Clippers who hate our guts? Maybe. But who's taking Ryan Anderson? And are we going to settle on PJ Tucker and Lck mah Bootay as the PF rotation?

    DJ's gravitational pull in the paint is >> Capela's. So if you pick and roll, there is no help defense that can cover all three (ball handler, roll man, spot up shooters).

    Its the reason Orl was so dominant when Hoard was in his prime.
