The convenience and familiarity might help but the distribution of tickets will mitigate any home crowd advantage.

I wonder what @bobrek thinks about all this.

I'm fully jazzed about the Vikings now, and the Jags.

Back in May, I could have had 2 tickets in a charity auction that eventually went for $18,000. (included tickets to a number of parties and events)

Really happy for case, and it has nothing to do with a cougar thing, the guy been on so many rosters in the league, it's about time that he finds a place in the league.

SKOL! I have always been a casual Vikings fan, but once Keenum started playing, I became a more avid fan.

    What happens with Keenum:

    - if he loses in the NFC championship game?
    - if he wins in the NFC CG but loses in the SB?
    - if he wins in the SB?

Do any of these scenarios end in Keenum being Minny's long-term QB? Remember, they still have Bradford and Bridgewater on the roster.

Keenum is due for a payday - just don't know if it's with Minny or not.

I can't imagine any scenario where he isn't at least their medium term plan at QB. Bridgewater is a complete bust and they didn't get much from Bradford when he had his shot. I mean, right now all 3 of those QB's are healthy and available and Keenum is the starter, Bradford is the backup, and Bridgewater is inactive.

It looks like the point spread was 5.5 before kickoff which is hilarious. All that fuss over the xtra point was real.

But they’ll certainly have a leg up on the secondary market.

Half the battle of going to the SB is travel/hotel arrangements. The local fans not having to deal with that (or spend money on that) would be an advantage in that context.

Rumor is he will follow Shurmer wherever he goes (likely Arizona or NY).

All game on the home kicks they were cheating. Someone RIGHT in the middle of the goal posts was turning on a very very clear bright light, I am saying flat out to help their kicker hit his shanky kicks. AND on the the NO kicks the SAME light was just wide left. And that last play, are you willing to believe a bold face lie right on the field?

They can franchise him. He can't go anywhere.

Why would they do that? Are they giving up on their other QB’s already?

He’s a great story... but the same questions will always exist.

That would be a pretty crazy situation, since I can't see them wanting to pay him like that, but for sure they won't want to lose him.

I'm biased, but looking at Case's number objectively, if he played just one more game he would have thrown for 3,700 yards, 22 TD, 7 Int, and a 98 QB rating. 318 in the playoffs, with some serious mojo. He's a #1 and probably in the top 10 qbs regardless of his past. He had a stellar season with total control of the reigns.

Mularky earned that extension, but he doesn't deserve it. I just can't believe he witnessed first hand Mariota excelling in the no huddle and didn't go to it in the entire game against the Patriots, inspite of the fact the offense has been floundering for months. He had no reason not to try it.
