Full recovery for this injury with PRP treatment is estimated 10 days. By waiting til the 18th or 20th to play him he will be at a week or even longer than a week extra.

Hopefully he’s healthy but if so were back in business, healthy Mbah and Harden. Green emerging from no where, Black making solid minor contributions and trade deadline coming up.

Rockets guard James Harden could return from his strained right hamstring as soon as Thursday against Minnesota Timberwolves, Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said, before Harden went through some of Sunday's practice in UCLA, his first practice
time with the team since the injury Dec. 31.

Harden's return "could be Thursday or Saturday, I don't know," D'Antoni said. "We'll see how it is. Each day he's got to get better. We'll see. Whenever he's ready

This dude is definitely being rushed back. We are making a huge mistake. This is only the second week right?

I don't like this at all.

Full strength? Hardly, Harden won't be at full strength. Nene may not be back.

We've played 1 game at full strength.

yep but seriously I think they should be patient & prudent make sure he's 100% injury/pain free

if something bad happens/rehappens its on all of them - doctors, trainers, morey, mda, even harden

If the Doctors say he is ready, I believe the Doctors. I just don't trust MDA to save Harden from himself. There will be a minutes restriction; MDA should adhere to that minutes restriction NO MATTER WHAT.

Amen. Protect the guy's health. To hell with the Warriors. I'll worry about beating them in the post-season.

There's good reason to play him in the Warriors game. Doesn't have to be long, but we need to experiment with lineups and plays against the team we're being built to beat. I would argue that this is worth some risk of reinjury, though it's sensible to limit the risk by limiting the PT.

Not only am I worried about Kieth Jones incompetence , I also am worried MDA will play James 30+ minutes right out the gate .

I really hope that our training staff is making sure Harden is 100 percent before he comes back , but I could see them sayin " Eh , James knows his body best ."

All I'll say is that if James gets hurt because he's not fully over this injury , Keith needs to be fired , MDA needs to be fired , and Morey might need the can as well for letting it happen .

This is your ****ing franchise player here and we have title aspirations . A mid January matchup with GS means absolutely nothing .

They could sit James until after the ASB and I'd have no problem with it . Bringing him back ahead of schedule ( if he's not actually 100 percent ) is the worst possible outcome .... So they better be ****ing sure on this one.

Yea. He just loves to play. But given this is his first major injury and the dynamics of a hamstring injury I am very concerned if he is rushing. One would think the training staff would know when to clear him. But what if James is not honest about how something feels? Reason CP3 is playing right now is he pulled himself out the first second he felt his groin pull. That was invaluable for his recovery. Can we trust James is mature and experienced enough to take the conservative approach in his comeback or will he let his desire to play override his judgement. It would really suck if he pushed to get back for the warriors game only to further pull it and given James’s durable history this is truly a concern I have.

This year could be magical. We were smoking to start and then the injury bug bit. Now we picked up Green which was like winning a scratch off which would not have happened had we not battled injuries. I would hate to see all that go up in a puff just because JH wants to ball a few games earlier.

Grade 2 hamstring and coming back after less than 3 weeks.

It's certainly not what I expected.
