That was the only pass thrown his way? I honestly have forgotten, a bunch of those playoff losses seem to bleed together.
Oh I don't know in that kind of detail, I just remember the interception. He very well could have played a solid game but it doesn't really matter given the outcome. Hell, today he got burned for 2 TD's, but it doesn't really matter because the Jags pulled the game out.
Oh I'd love to see it too, It's just that I'll believe it when I see it. Brady is already 40, so realistically he can't make it THAT much longer and Belichick is already 65 so maybe he chooses to retire with Brady but the talk of him leaving the Pats is not really credible.
Have you seen Brandin Cooks run? Belichick is all about finding the best matchup. He will run Gronk up the seam against a safety or linebacker who has no chance against him. Gipson and Church will be murdered in the open field by Gronk. If the Jags decide to double Gronk, then Brady will pick apart the man coverage on Cooks, Amendola, and Hogan. As if that's not enough, the Patriots backfield of Lewis, White, and Burkhead will bust open runs to keep the chains moving. The Patriots are a well-oiled machine. They kill you with 1000 small cuts, not a deep bomb to the endzone.
More importantly, the Jags got away with quite a bit of PI....they won't get away with that against the Pats, hell they'll be lucky if the refs don't invent some PI calls where they were cleanly defending.
Keenum still can't throw a ball through a wet wall of tissue paper, but he looks like a proper QB so far. I can't help but root for the kid. Done the same for Brees since he was in HS.
