How Can We Attract More Norwegians to Our Broken Down Country?

Ok, so let's get this right - Trump and his buds think Norway is a socialist state that we should be nothing like and that we should take the people there who want to come here (basically hardly anyone) except maybe poor people who can't succeed in Norway's socialist structure OVER the best of the best of Haiti and African countries who are highly educated and hungry for a better life?

And this isn't about race? Yeah right.

 

I wonder if Trump would prefer Russians to Norwegians.

 

Lots of people in the upper Plains have Scandinavian heritage and still identify by it, particularly on census surveys.

1. Cut corporate taxes while adding another 1.5 trillion to the debt. Give a thousand or two to the middle class to shut them up about unfairness.
2. Ban people by their creed...make it as unconstitutional as the "rigged" courts will allow.
3. Promote multimillionaires/billionaires to the cabinet and let them exploit the government as much as you can in order to "starve the beast"
4. Drain swamp. Norasians hate swamps.
   
5. Through science magic and the fossil fuel lobby, melt the planet down to make Norway a summer paradise.

The ones that have to leave Norway for Detroit? Didn't know that needed clarification.

 

Detroit is a top destination for tourists, is home to the US auto industry, and is an international city - as it borders Canada. Lot's of winning there.

 

So are Olso and Bergen.

Again, just look at the quality of life stats...why would anyone move from there to here (again, like I've said, outside of the Houston oil industry)? How is any of this a win-win? I still wonder if you know what that means.

 

What's wrong with the quality of life in Detroit? It's a top tourist destination. Must be pretty damn good.

I've been to Norway. Have not been to Detroit.

 

They most definitely do have some amazing women. Back in 1971, I was hitchhiking from Norway to the Netherlands and got a ride with two Norwegian chicks going to Amsterdam. Identical twins, who were tall slender blondes with pale green eyes and fine features. As luck would have it, that little trip turned out to be an exciting ride. The least exciting thing I did during the trip was buy German beer out of a machine at a highway rest stop for the three of us. I don't know if it's legal to do so today, although I'm sure ATW would know. Things got very interesting when they suggested getting a room. I told them to get one where I could pitch my little tent nearby, not wanting to miss out on a great ride in the morning. They wouldn't hear of it! They got a double room and insisted that I share it with them. It only got better after that. I soon figured out that they really didn't need to stop (we aren't talking about vast distances here), but rather were swingers who decided that I could be a fun guy to sleep with. That turned out to be one of the highlights of a 6 month trip to Europe.
