The Thunders are good because they have a top 3 defense and their offense is creeping up into top 10.

Golden State is still the team to beat. They lose one of their big 4 and they are still arguably the best team in the league.

We should fear the Thunder when Briante Weber is our backup point guard. It’s time to commence the primary ignition sequence by putting in Downtown Bobby Brown

Beating Golden State is the only thing we think about. ;)

OKC hasn't had any major injuries yet. Let's see how long that holds.

Without CP3/Capela, I think almost any team can beat us. Our biggest fear is the injury bug more than anything.

With Harden/CP3/Capela all starting, we still have yet to lose a single game.

Should the Thunder fear falling out of the playoffs?

Wow, only one game out of the playoffs! I wasn't paying attention to the standings... And now OKC have the Wolves next fresh off the Wolves dominating win over the Cavs. uh oh.

I think they are safe. The dropoff from 8-9 is pretty significant in my eyes. I could see the Thunder anywhere from 4-8 but it's hard to imagine them being passed by the Jazz, Clippers or Suns barring some big trades.

    Morey certainly doesn't. lol.

Personally, I wouldn't want to face the Thunder in rd1. I'd rather face any of the 3 other teams from the 5 to 8 seed currently. They are all like 1 game apart from each other so it's going to be fun watching them kill each other in the second half of the season.

Thunder are pretty terrible when you look at them as a whole but because they have 3 stars, the stars can align and they can all go off on you. They showed this when they beat us and the Warriors this season.

In 30 minutes, he was 0-#2 tonight - missed the entire bowl

I wonder if this team is kinda just put together for a year to help Westbrook win, not really worried about the regular season, just trying to stay healthy for when playoffs come. If when it takes off , are they gonna win few games like , rockets warriors, spurs etc.. top teams have already put some 10+ game winning streaks.

Say if they just stay the same now , gel some after the allstar break, and go like 45-37. Can they beat Spurs in 7 3 vs 6 matchup. Im gonna say no, and then i see G Paul going to Lakers, and Westbrook going elsewhere. Melo will probably will ask for a trade or buyout and join lebron somewhere.

If you look at the Blazer vs thunder game, two similar teams, portland won by 11, cause there bench did more, rebs + points + assist, and there top3 scorers, scored more than okc big three. Okc doesnt seem to have a good bench, they really need a crawford or eg, and player like tucker/ariza both coming off the bench, and they really be good team.

if they win the same amount of wins as last year, it just proves Westbrook wasn't the MVP

Westbrook is stuck, he already signed an extension. Also, Melo ain't trying to lose any money, he'll opt in next year for his over 20 million salary.

maybe they want the 8th seed.
Maybe it is part of their plan to 'knock' off the #1 Seed

that would be nice and media worthy
cause that seems important to them . . more than a championship

They could be anywhere from 4 to 8. (I don't see them cracking top 3).

What is scary is if they match up with Rockets. They have the firepower and defense to upset any team.

If you had to bet your house on it, better to face Spurs than Thunder.
