Forward Luc Mbah a Moute is expected to miss at least another week with a dislocated shoulder. He has been out since Dec. 13. http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets...lague-compounded-by-loss-of-Nene-12478970.php --> Until Luc Mbah a Moute returns – his timetable seems to be from the contractor's school of always two more weeks, though finally he might be back sooner than that – the Rockets have to look at their current mix and believe what they have to be enough.
I hope we aren't rushing him back due to our current struggles. That's the kind of short - sighted behavior that could really cost us.
Luc Mbah a Moute got in a long workout before the Rockets practice in Chicago on Sunday, but has not been cleared for practices and said he does not yet have a target for his return from a dislocated shoulder. "I'm definitely closer to the end than where I was," Mbah a Moute said. "I'm feeling better, able to start shooting and doing stuff on the court. It's tough being out, dealing with an injury. "I can't really guess (about a return date.) I'm regaining strength. The shoulder is healed. Range of motion is getting better. I'm starting to do stuff on the court, getting into basketball shape." http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets/article/Rockets-Luc-Mbah-a-Moute-works-out-but-not-12480203.php
He was unemployed was my point. There are still good players that are unemployed so the disdain for guys still available is ignorant.
How about naming someone specific? When we wanted a third guard people had very specific suggestions: Barbosa, Ellis, Deron Williams, and Jameer Nelson before he got scooped up by the Pelicans. All would have been an upgrade over Bobby Brown. People overlooked Green because we didn't need another SG at the time. But if you think there's quality defensive stopper out there you're going to have to refresh our memory.
How about 2X D League D Player of Year Deandre Liggins. 6'6 combo guard with 7ft wingspan. Or 7'3 Walter Tavares with 7-9 wingspan. Or another D League Player of Year Alex Caruso, 6'5 combo guard. Or triple double D machine in Chinese CBA, 6'6 combo guard Jamaal Franklin with 7ft wingspan. Google is your friend.
None of those guys are even worth googling. If you were including centers you could've at least mentioned Bogut.
