I am now officially concerned and discouraged. I actually thought we MIGHT content for the top seed. Bwahahaha. Pretty stupid thought. Should have known better.

 

I think we were fine until mid January or some games after that period, i think the Minnesota game, the one we came back like from -12 in two minutes was the last good one (like the last of a 10 winning streak).

 

Not sure what to think with Paul right now. He could still be hurting (likely is), but then all the sudden he looks like the Point God and completely normal/ amazing.

 

Ryno needs to be gone because you cant have a guy this bad

 

sucks how other great coaches like pop can win games like this without his best players but overrated ass d'antoni can't do **** without riding the coattails of superstar players in their prime.

 

He is not the Alpha player that will take over a game, and that’s what the Rockets need with Harden being out. I like Chris Paul but he doesn’t deserve a $30 million/yr type of contract.

Because Morey would have some expiring contracts and a couple of young players with potential to offer up if he didn't package them up for a career underachiever who is probably the only top line NBA player to have failed in the playoffs more than Harden?

Morey cashed in his flexibility with the Paul trade and now we seem locked in to this flawed roster, which looked amazing for the first 2 months but looks like absolute dogshit now.

A lot of that is on MDA too, for being too stubborn to ever do anything different

I have the same fear tbh, but at this point there's no turnback i feel...unless Paul leaves of course. What i really hope is that we can bring in Lebron, if that's gonna happen i'd be totaly fine with a max to Paul anyway cause Harden and Lebron would be enough for the regular season anyway.

 

Are the Rockets just accepting they will suck without Harden... cause it feels that way.

He probably still hurt. He doesn’t have any lift on his jumps. And he is missing a ton of shots inside the paint. That used to be like a layup for him.

Capela imo isn’t cutting it. Not on defense or offense. If it’s not a lob or a layup all made by harden or Chris he can’t score.


Maybe in 2 more years he will be great. DJ is great right now for what we need Capela to do. Lobs and protecting the rim.
I don’t see anyone fearing Clint even though he gets some blocks. Must be because most of the time he is out of position

I don't know which is more absurd.

Ryan Anderson's 20mil contract or the fact that both Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are paid millions less than Anderson.

The Dpoy who has the most triple doubles in Warriors history only paid 16mil/year with 3 years left and Klay Thompson, the best 3&D player in the league on a 18mil/year contract.

I don’t think any team would offer him a max over that many years, it’s just too much money at his age
