It was in the GSW game thread, the dude was bashing the Rockets first win in GSW fighting with everyone because Harden had played in it, talking about “GSW always starts off slow, Harden didn’t do anything in the 4th.” I debunked that with stats and I also got too personal, he then replied to me and got even more personal. His post did it for Clutch. Clutch gave me a warning about language which I deserved but I’m glad he banned the troll.
Wow, just caught up with this thread to see the Clutch ban hammer. Had that guy on ignore for a long time, but even then, he ruins the Game Threads because he makes the whole thread toxic with replies...and others baiting him and @-ing him, which just makes him feel like he has a roll to play here...creating a stupid spin-cycle (pun intended) of boring nonsense that I suppose some think is fun....or a bunch of "Shut up, Troll", and I just lose interest in Game Threads. I suppose all you can do is ban the eye of the spiral. thx @Clutch (fwiw: Harden's Beard is in the same boat, if not the same poster.) And well done @DonKnock for helping draw attention brewer's goat. Dude, don't go because you get banned. Go because you don't like the superstar player on your team. Harden isn't going anywhere, and I trust your dislike isn't so developed that you hope for injuries. It must be miserable for you to see ppl cheering everyday for a guy you don't like. And if you're actually trying to change Houston's opinion of him during a game, that must really be frustrating. Seems you are here for nothing but negative reasons. That can't be healthy or fun.
I would not want to be a mod. I see it more like I am like a Speaker of the House. I bring the current issues to a higher platform for enhanced discussion and debate before someone else (Clutch in this case) makes the final ruling, or a vote is taken.
I kind of doubt it. Sure he's on their G-League team, but any team could sign him and thus far no team has wanted to. That said, if he ends up back in the NBA I'll be happy for him....and even happier that it won't be on the Rockets.
Seeing as its a regular season award, I'd prob have to go with Harden.... I'd consider WB... but based on how his teammates padded his stats for him on rebounds and such... he gets edged out by the beard... Question for you... seeing as MDA was COY last year... does that mean he is beyond reproach and everybody complaining about his short rotations and such should stfu due to his obvious greatness? (example is said tongue in cheek...)
Hey man! What are U trying to pull? That quote didn't come from me... but you've put my name to it.... just some more revisionist history... smh....
which players from last year could MDA he have given more time? would you say he tried his best to work with what he had? if you are to change one thing first in the off season to get closer to the championship, what will you do? 1. upgrade roster around harden 2. upgrade mda 3. upgrade harden
You just don't get it, bro... The question isn't who's better than Harden... it's can Harden be better? Of course the answer is yes - aint none of us perfect - including the almighty James Harden.... I'll never rag on James for taking and missing a good shot - that's the game... but chuck up an ill advised shot - esp at a crucial time - and I'm gonna rag on him.... Personally, I'm not a fan of MDA... I think he's a stat padding 1 trick pony who works his stats to come off as some 'offensive guru' 1) Historically, he keeps his starters in much longer than needed to boast his offensive numbers - dead legs in the playoffs be damned... 2) If you run at a higher tempo - you're probably gonna get (and give) more easy buckets in transition - helping his offensive numbers - while really being of no real benefit - since its offset by the other team getting an equal benefit... 3) If you refuse to play a third of your roster... are you a good coach who's developing personnel... or are you stat padding with the benefit of only using your best players - again, dead legs for the playoffs be damned... ... and I'd have loved to have seen Trez get minutes the later part of the season and playoffs last year... Obviously, at this point its about continuously trying to upgrade around Harden and trying to pull a chip in this window.... James is a huge talent so you continue to make him the focal and continue to help him develop... You ride the MDA train and hope it works out... but until you got 15 all-stars on your roster - there will always be needs to upgrade the roster...
so in your opinion, what was the far most biggest flaw/weakness last year that's why we didn't get more than 55 wins and get farther in the playoffs? 1. Harden (can't do everything by himself) 2. MDA (over depency on harden and 8-man rotation) 3. Roster around harden (over dependency on harden/need more superstar/s need better roleplayers) just give a number 1, 2, or 3?
Member when Dwight was better than Harden and it wasn’t about Harden improving it was about getting rid of that “narcissistic ass”? I member.
U go, u lil memberberry! lol! Hey I'm glad to see jimmy getting more level headed... hopefully he can curtail the 'flare ups' like in Boston going forward.... and hopefully the days of being led around by the likes of Khloe are history...
You gotta admit, for a while there you were on a trolling roll yourself. There is a reason he and many others remember. Clutchfans doesn't forget, maybe forgive, but we never forget those who try to pollute this great website.
