The major advantage I have to admit DJ has over Clint is he is wayyyyyyy more durable. He rarely ever misses games.

DeAndre Jordan was All-NBA First Team in just 2016. A lot of y'all are underrating him

Lebron is already past a billion in "true" networth if he you count every single asset he owns/invests. Not all billionaires are even close to being disclosed, many have off shore money impossible to keep track of. Saves on taxes plain and simple is why they want to remain undisclosed.

The guy has an Astros tattoo, that's good enough for me.

Wait isn't Clint Capela going to be a restricted free agent after this season? I mean it could be possible to ship Capela/Anderson out together to make room for LeBron and DeAndre. Eh pipe dream too outlandish, I'll wait to see how the Rockets and Cav's do in the playoffs. If the Rockets get to the WCF/Nba finals we may really have a shot at sparking some significant interest in LeBron signing here.

If Capela keeps playing soft, I’m not sure I want to pay him. I’ll take DJ right now, but sure like to believe that Capela can be the tough guy we need him to be!

How good will Capela be in 3 years though? You gotta think long term.

soft ? he hasn't been soft. He even is dunking most of his shots at the rim now instead of trying to lay them in.

DJ isn't as good as you think. At the same age as Capela, Jordan wasn't good at all

Deandre like Capela is heavily reliant on a good facilitator.

If we can nab Deandre for cheap after getting a Paul George or Lebron then you may want to do it.

Deandre has missed 5 games in the last 6 years. If Capela gets injured again this year then you might have to let the kid go and take Deandre to pair with our core's remaining window.

    Houston should absolutely consider it.

My problem with Capela is if he ever has the ball in the paint (minus lobs) he’s a liability of getting ripped. DJ is much better at going straight up with force. Nobody is pushing DJ around in the paint.

If there is one player that would surprise everyone and leave a LOT of money on the table to play for another team at pennies, it is DeAndre Jordan.

It would take A LOT of ass kissing and recruitment and Paul and Harden whispering in his ear, but Jordan is the type of guy to leave huge money on the table to do what he wants and where he wants. He has made over $100,000,000 so far and I have had several people tell me that the money doesn't mean as much to him as it does other people. He has been careful with his money, etc.

I don't think it would happen, but I would not be totally shocked if Jordan signed with the Rockets for a very low amount if the Rockets handled the situation properly.

Capela just isn’t on his level yet, deandre is a lot more aggressive and stronger. And he hit his free throws when they hacked him..

Players like Capela typically peak in their early to mid 20s, and Capela has a breathing problem that keeps him playing only half the game. Foul shooting is worse and so is his reliability, by a lot. Not to mention purely on the court, Jordan is probably better. Plays above the rim more.

I don't really see how it will work cap wise. Maybe it happens if they miss out on George and LeBron.

Capela does not have a breathing problem. His stamina is just not that good. Did you just make this up?

I think he was confused, Capela did develop problems breathing, but only when wearing that mask recently.

I wish we could have both Capela and Jordan.

Love Capela but if we can get rid of Anderson packaged with Capela to get deandre I would do it - just so we can get rid of RA and get a serviceable center back. I see deandre resigning at a discount whereas Capela is about get the biggest payday yet while we still have Anderson on the payroll

How can you mention DJ without mentioning his horrible free throws? Talk about disrupting the offense. We are talking about WORSE than Hack-a-Howard. This is something you have to factor in. Clint's ft problem isn't catastrophic like DJ's. We need to focus on Cousins

If DeAndre Jordan is willing to take less than Clint next offseason you definitely sign him. This dude is built like a tank... he's like Harden, another ironman of the league, rarely injured. He just has low bbiq but if he accepts his role like Clint did, he will absolutely dominate on this team.

Clint deserves his payday and I won't blame him if he wants to leave to get the max that Morey probably won't be willing to give him if we're trying to sign Lebron.

Imagine a lineup of CP3, Harden, Ariza, Lebron, DJ. We'd be insane offensively and defensively. We'd also be a bit old but our championship window is the next 2 years. We all know how hard it is for a team to 3peat if the Warriors win it again this year.

Ariza strikes me as a guy who will finish his career here in Houston solely because he's such good friends with Harden/CP3 and he fits in our system.
