After watching last night's game it's clear to see that we are right on the Warriors heels. I think we could get 3 games in a 7 game series with them with the roster as presently constructed. A couple of upgrades at key positions and we could definitely get by them. Green gives us much needed shooting and athleticism and his acquisition surprisingly narrowed the gap a little. No need to worry as Rox fans because we are in the best position to dethrone those clowns and they know it. If Morey can find an active quality big and the basketball Gods bless us with some good health down the stretch and into the playoffs we'll be just fine.

P.S. We need Ryno to produce at the level he's capable of more than we need to get rid of him. His shooting ability when he's on is hard to find at that size.

We lack their consistency. We achieve that by keeping the group together for years.

Capela can't even play 30 minutes when there is no backup center even worthy of minutes to put on the court. There is some issue with his fitness or something behind the scenes . . . makes no sense. We clearly need an upgrade over Nene since a) Nene hardly plays and b) Capela hardly plays.

Nene looks done. Draymond Green is the key to creating space for Warriors shooters. Mbah a Moute is not Green. Answer is upgrade the backup center.

If anything, yesterday's game was a bit of a let down in my opinion. It was played at home. Durant is more valuable than Harden and we weren't close to winning really.

I'm sorry but I wasn't let down after last night because we played well for 3q's. Harden is more valuable to us than Durant is to the Warriors. We solidify the back-up center position and we're right there.

We definitely need to upgrade the backup center with Nene playing part-time and nobody else that can block and bully the bullies.

I agree we need a decent backup center with height and a tall lengthy power forward that can play defense. The ideal is that both backup center and possible starting power forward can shoot well mid-range or 3 pointers. Ryan Anderson is better off the bench. This would come in handy against the Spurs, Lakers......(teams with length) that have killed us rebounding.

    Some cheap players available are
Back up Center - Edy Tavares 7'3, can rebound and block shots.
Tiago Splitter - Power Forward that can hit mid-range and play better 'D'.

Asking to upgrade this roster is homerish.... we already are getting Green and Moute for millions less than they are worth. We should try but we are definitely already overachieving.

People need to realize that without Green's ridiculous output, we would have been blown out, and we can't count on Green shooting 60% from the field for much longer.

We aren't close to the Warriors - we are at least 1-2 quality pieces away.

i agree. the success of this team relies heavily on what will happen to Ryno's abilities or contract.

I'm sorry, but it's true. Offensively, they are a wash. Defensively, Durant has turned into one of the premier defenders in the league. Dude is literally 0.03 bpg away from leading the league in blocks.

We really aren't. KD > Harden especially given KDs tremendous impact on the defensive end for the warriors.

Seems like someone's obsessed with beating the Warriors.

People need to realize that without Swaggy P having the greatest shooting quarter of his career the Rockets would have clowned the Warriors at the Oracle on ring night instead of merely beating them.

harden one of the best playmakers in the past 20 years, creating points out of thin air for his teammates on possession after possession. while leading the league in scoring.

Just need Capela to keep maturing and get him some real help. We're not as far away as some CF posters would lead you to believe.

KD's great defense surfaced concurrently with his joining an all-star team where he can conserve energy and contribute in other ways though

Yeah, it looks that way because we are as good of an offensive team as they are. But you are right.
