Anderson is only valuable when his shot is falling, some games, he actually tries to contribute in other areas but eventually yields to other players. However, Nene and Black contribution at center has been depressing as well. Bottom line we need CP3 to rest Harden and take ball out of his hands down the stretch when he doesn't have it!
They got the wrong "space". Its the salary cap "space" that Anderson is tying up that they should be talking about... Floor space lol.... yeah as in how much space he gives the opposition to shoot on defense.
I have been biting my tongue but it has now been evident for multiple weeks in a row: Ryan Anderson just isn't a very good (nba) basketball player. He has only one strength and that is hitting WIDE open threes, and lately he can't even do that. I emphasize wide because he literally (and I don't use that word lightly) ONLY hits when he is WIDE open, as in no one within 15 feet. All other threes are automatic misses. Whoop dee do, he has a little midrange turnaround shot. No one cares. He has some sort of mental block when taking the ball to the rim. You can tell he thinks he will be blocked every time. So he pump fakes, but he is too slow so they block the second/third attempt anyway. I want him gone!
Has a championship team ever had a player as bad as Anderson in their starting lineup? Was the Heat's point guard as bad? I don't think this team can contend with Anderson starting, even if everyone is healthy.
It only takes one bad move to derail a championship franchise. For Morey, that move may have been his long-term love affair for Ryan Anderson. He finally got him but signed him for way too many years and money. It ended up costing us Melo and we'll see about LeBron next year.
Looks like most of CF has finally seen the light regarding Anderson lol. The Anderson fanclub has been real quiet lately.
RA makes 70% of Harden's salary and his on-court contributions is not ever 20% that of Harden's yet alot of RA lovers and Harden haters think it's Harden to blame for everything
Champion teams have had worse players than Anderson, the problem is no champion team has paid a mediocre player so much money. Champion teams have an optimal allocation of salary to production, they are basically making the most of their salary cap. In our case it is the opposite, Anderson is clearly a bench player however we are paying him the big bucks, essentially other teams have LMA or Green and we have Anderson lol. Like the other poster said, it only take 1 wrong move to derail a championship team. In Presti's case it was trading Harden. Perhaps in Morey's case it was signing Anderson.
Jesus H Christ, you ***** gonna disagree because you think i don't hate him enough? get a fking life. i'm just posting what i see right now. i've been posting on game threads and other threads including this one, that he's been sucking.
