There are those like @brewer's goat who ONLY berate James Harden. Seems to be their sole purpose
You side with him regularly and therefore are seen riding his Harden bashing bandwagon.
I'm quite sure that's why you are taking crossfire.

Expressing an occasional frustration with boneheaded play is one thing. But when everything someone
posts is aimed at berating a player, even when they are playing well, it just gets old.
When you pile on with him, you all tend to look the same. Careful who you run with

 

none of those players quit like Harden, actually no other players have lows as low as Harden. He legit has the worst body language at times I've seen from a star player. And it's not just one Spurs game either so don't give me that concussion excuse.

I don't care about scrutiny from other teams fans, they don't know shet. There's plenty of true Rockets that are irritated by Harden's plays and actions on the court, especially in the playoffs.

I admit I have always brought up mda/moreys 8-man rotation/10-man depth compared to gsw/kerr & spurs/ 10-man rotation/12+ man depth

you disagree with that and you think that MDA should only limit his rotation to 8-men and Morey should only have a depth of 10-players?

 

so you credit harden for helping okc get to the finals but blame harden playing behind kd & wb for losing to lebron, wade, & bosh?

so you're saying Harden held us back from the WCFs last year? which better superstar could have carried us farther the whole year last year?

if gsw had harden in 2015 instead of curry & 2017 instead of kd you doubt they'd still be champs?

most people are actually defending the rockets getting a chip.. because since harden been here, given the team built, assets we have, and gm & coaching we had, harden is the single superstar who can get us closest to a chip.. unless you can name a single player who can replace harden and surely get us a chip then just say who. or you think morey regrets trading for harden? or you think presti given another chance won't hesitate to trade harden again?

finally after 5 or 6 years Morey realized that everyone needs 2 legit superstars/elite playmakers at least and now in the middle of the season him and mda realized me need a larger rotation that's why morey got green and mda started playing webber more.. and last game everyone from coach down to the last role player realized that they can't be over dependent and over complacent when harden's playing and each and everyone has to contribute each & everygame and not simply run harden to the ground and expect him to produce the teams' 55-70 points everynight

now we finally have 2 superstars and are closest to the chip in 20 years, instead of uniting behind our 2 superstars what do you so called "true" rockets fans do?

 

There is a HUGE difference in always being willing to defend your star player (HOF)
and ALWAYS criticizing your star player (HOH).

I see no problem in a fan standing up for a player who has taken the team to great heights.
That's the definition of a fan (short for fanatic isn't it?).

But, on the other hand, one who only criticizes a star player on a fan(atic) forum is really only there to stir the pot.
Let's face it, Harden is not going anywhere. He is a top 5 player in the league and very marketable.

If that person is so disgusted with the star player, they should simply go elsewhere
and root for a team with a star they like. Plain and simple.

It's like living on a beach and loving the scenery and every day your neighbor walks
out and starts complaining how much they HATE the heat, even though they are sitting on a beautiful beach.

All it would take to make them content is to relocate to somewhere cooler. But yet they don't.

You just can't compare the ANTI approach as being similar or acceptable long term.

 

I'm not referring to Harden at all in this post but if a star player is performing horribly and is draining down the franchise, are you suggesting that we should stick with the star player ruining the team you were born and raised to be a fan of and if you don't support the star player or desire he gets traded, you should ditch the team you were a fan of your entire life?

So being a fan of a player>fan of the team?

I've never understood the criticism myself. I just go with the flow. If we lose, oh well. I still had fun watching my team. I sure as heck don't start spouting off any in the heat of the moment negative horsepiss. I have a question for all those who constantly argue for trading a player or firing a coach when the team doesn't meet your expectations. Why are you a Houston sports fan? I think the peaks and valleys are what make it intriguing, and if I wanted cold, clinical, drama-free basketball, I would go watch the Spurs. I ain't gonna waste my time being negative. Not my style.
