For the last time, no one needs to be cut. Green will not be cut, no one had to be cut to pick him up.
Why? Did we cut Luc when he got injured? What possible need exists to 'make room' for Luc? Please elaborate. Very confused.
This is not like the Josh Smith signing at all because Green still has that youthful low mileage energy to be as active as ever. Best diamond in the rough pick up the Rockets ever made.
Harden is King. Bobby Brown is his gay lover. So if Harden is not there, Bobby Brown makes the next decision and he may not want to see his minutes drop from 1 minute per game to 25 seconds.
this guy needs to start, he is playing so well i think ryno needs to come off the bench, let green show him what we really wants to see from him in the first place when we gave him that 20 m per year contract
need to keep joe chee, he's the Chinese dollars generator, i don't mind let go troy williams since we got Green
Good that we got the mature Green, will be 32 this month.....he has some mileage left and fits on this team. I have personally always liked him, but his off the court stuff got him run out of town last time...... Hopefully he has moved on from that crew and is more mature now. He can really help. DD
It's not the playing style. But there are a lot of similarities. Both had high potential coming into the league but never really fulfilled the potential. Both can score and are kind of a chucker. Both guys have the reputation of undisciplined, somewhat boneheaded immature player. Beasley is a better player. He was picked #2 while Green was picked #18. Beasley bounces around but is able to stay in the league. Green bounces around all kinds of league in the world.
Didn't we pluck Beasley out of China last year? I take green over Beasley every time. I felt like if you have Beasley on the court he has to be a focal point or he doesn't do muh for you. Green seems like the kind of guy you can plug in. He has had some serious off the court issues though
You are right. Beasley did go to China for a year or so. But that's the only time he was out of NBA, I think. Green however was in and out so many times. Both guys have off court issues, wasting potentially good careers.
Both happened in Miami as well. I think there's just a toxic party culture there that sucked them in. Here's LeBatard who's based in Miami talking about the situation in a general sense: https://podfanatic.com/podcast/the-dan-lebatard-show-with-stugotz/episode/local-hour-11-12-15
