Oh I'll still watch, it'll just be annoying watching BOB continue to be incompetent and waste Watson's career.....don't worry, when he wastes Watson's career I'm sure you'll be here spinning the situation blaming Watson on Rick Smith and claiming that the QB BOB really wanted would have been better. For whatever reason BOB has a ton of fanboys despite being the worst head coach in franchise history.

Amazing thread looks amazing without the torrential diarrhea of a needlessly argumentative dumbass (be careful with those kerosene heaters, bro, you could burn down the entire trailer park) and delusional goon who will continue to look ever more foolish (not so simple a prospect) as more and more information comes out that directly contradicts the nonsense he's been spewing incessantly for several weeks.

Context matters. I never wanted Mallett on the team, but after he was already here, I preferred Mallett over Hoyer. When BOB gets his way with personnel you have to choose between which bad player is best. BOB really screwed that whole situation up despite getting "his guys" and if it wasn't for Hoyer getting hurt the Texans don't make the playoffs that season. BOB then put Hoyer back in for the playoff game and got what you'd expect, arguably the worst QB performance in NFL playoff history.

The Texans want to keep both O’Brien and Smith, with Raye III is a silent player in the entire scheme, especially given his role as the assistant general manager at this time. McNair wants to keep all three but the combination of making it happen is the biggest piece of the puzzle to the future of the Texans.

This would be the dumbest of dumb things to do.

At no time would any organization have Jimmy Raye run the show. Ever. Ask Sean Jones -- he knows him personally and said same.

This is like trying to force an angry divorcing couple to live in the same house for a year.
... it will not work out in the end.

O'Brien needs to go take one of his better offers and leave the Texans in their own mess...

Or get a multiyear extension/deal and a competent/strong GM who runs the show.

    No one year compromises.

No 5 guys in charge BS.

Best possible outcome for the Texans. It would make the Texans instantly the top destination for coaching candidates and it would allow the team to bring in a competent head coach.

It’s adorable that you think anyone takes what you say seriously around here after you pumped up Mallet and talked down Watson.

I get that you think you are making a sick burn here but all you are doing is displaying your shorcomings and I feel bad for you and those unfortunate enough to have to interact with you on a daily basis.

That’s about all that needs to be said... any time things seem like he’s spiraling down his rabbit hole.

I wonder if O'Brien is using today's game in tomorrows presentation?

The Texans break a franchise record for most points given up in a single season, more than the team allowed the season they gave up on Kubiak and Phillips, more than they allowed in 2005 when they gave up on Dom Capers.....and despite the stellar play from Watson, the Texans will fail to score as many points as they did the very first year under BOB.

Clearly he's a coach that needs to keep his job and get more control over the team.
