A little conciseness wouldn't hurt here, haha. And I disagree that reliance on the refs is one of our main problems. Unless you mean getting held and clobbered with no calls means reliance on the refs. Honestly it hasn't been as much of a problem as years past (Harden does still take his ref-check 3 pointers, though.) Our defense has become matadors to the rim and our offense has become ISO ball.

I think this 'Reliance on Refs' is complete bullshit Relying on the Ref to call the game fair is now seen as a weakness? Harden and the Rockets have to be able to overcome 8 on 5 games. . . NIGHTLY!!!?!?!??!?! NO OTHER TEAM IN THE LEAGUE HAS THAT HIGH A BAR SET FOR THEM?? Foul Baiting and just plain ole getting foul are two different things! Getting someone to jump and jumping into them is Foul baiting!!!! Blowing by someone . .. keeping the ball low so they cannot knock it out until you go for the shot . . .. . and then Getting hack on the arms, shoulder and head. . IS JUST A F*CKING FOUL!!!! When that foul is not called. . .. . it becomes a turnover that those with irrational hatred of Harden like to point out. I have seen Kickballs that weren't call turn into Turnovers I detest the idea that we have to overcome incompetent (at best) or corrupt (at worse) officials to EARN a win. Hey, we agree on that for sure. Dwayne Wade won his first ring in '06 with ref-reliance, the Lakers beat the Kings in '02 with ref-reliance, and the Spurs beat the Suns in '07 with ref-reliance. Also, the Mavs beat the Rockets in '05 with ref-reliance. If the NBA doesn't want you to win, you won't win.
So..... we are a offense 1st team. With defense looming in 3rd. As long as the offense is locked in we win. Doesn't seem to be that hard of a game plan? Although it's a little more in depth than the clap,clap, play harder scheme.
Good post. Did read all of it. Disagree on Black though. He provides energy but his production overall has been eh. Very up and down. Honestly been disappointed in him for the most part. And he doesnt get the minutes he should because MDA rightfully has lost some confidence in him. Liked that Morey added Green. A potential rotation worthy player. Hope it works out. Anderson's and Tucker's shooting going south really has hurt. Getting Luc + CP + Capela back will be huge for the defense.
yep only thing he can brag about is getting harden. but even that he was just at the right place at the right time.
